To join Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2025, Candidates must follow some important rules. These rules are about where the student is from, their education, and their age.
Student must be a citizen of India.
Must be from Kerala (domicile).
OCI/PIO candidates with Kerala roots can also apply.
Candidates who are not from Kerala but did MBBS in Kerala can apply (no reservation benefit).
Must have completed MBBS from a college approved by MCI.
Must have finished internship or will finish it by the given date.
Must be registered with MCI or State Medical Council.
No upper age limit for most Candidates.
Age limit is 49 years for Medical Education Service candidates.
Age limit is 47 years for Health or Insurance Medical Service candidates.

Choice Filling & Locking – Choose your preferred medical colleges and courses when the option entry portal opens. Lock your choices before the deadline.

Note : In NEET PG 2024, many seats were left vacant, so the cutoff was reduced to the 5th percentile. This allowed more Candidates to participate in counselling. However, in 2025, the rules may return to normal, and Candidates might need higher marks again though still slightly lower than pre-2024 levels.
