NEET MDS 2024 exam is likely to get postponed by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS). National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 exam will be held on February 9, 2024 , according to the NBEMS exam calendar . NEET MDS Notification is expected to be released by the second week of January 2024.
There is speculation about the NEET MDS postponed following the 2023 exam cycle but such notice has yet to be released. Like NEET PG 2024, this medical entrance exam is conducted for admission to higher studies. However, the NEET MDS exam as the name suggests is exclusively for admission to 6000+ Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats in dental colleges across India.All About NEET MDS 2024 Exam

To apply for the exam candidates must fulfill the NEET MDS eligibility criteria. Only eligible candidates will be considered for the application process as mandated by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). The NEET MDS 2024 eligibility criteria are as follows: Qualification: Candidates must hold a BDS degree from a recognized institute by the Dental Council of India (DCI). Age Limit: Applicants should not be less than 20 years of age to apply for NEET MDS. Registration: Candidates must have a provisional or permanent registration with the State Dental Council (SDC) or DCI as of June 30th. The NEET MDS Result 2024 is expected to be announced by the last week of February or the first week of March. Candidates who clear the cut-off will be called for the NEET MDS Counselling 2024 conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the admission process to 50% All India Quota seats, deemed/central university seats, AFMC and ESIC dental seats. For 50% state quota respective authorities will conduct NEET MDS Counselling 2024 on their website. A total of three rounds are expected in NEET MDS Counselling 2024 seat allocation for AIQ seats. For vacant seats, a mop-up round is also organized in the end.
