NEET PG 2024 stray vacancy round started on February 12, 2025, with the last date for registration on February 16, 2025. Candidates had to declare their choices from February 13 to 16, 2025. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the seat allotment result on February 19, 2025, based on candidate preferences, rank, and other factors. The result will be available online in PDF format and will include details such as allotted course, college, category, and total number of allotted candidates. Those allotted seats in Round 3 must complete document verification. The final result of Round 3 counselling was announced on January 26, 2025.
MCC previously lowered the NEET PG 2024 cut-off percentile to 15% for General/EWS and 10% for SC/ST candidates to increase eligibility for seat allotment. Initially, the cut-off was 50% for General and 45% for SC/ST. Candidates must register and choose colleges and courses at mcc.nic.in. MCC handles counselling for 50% of seats, while state agencies allocate the remaining 50%. A total of 25,791 seats will be filled through counselling.

NBE will release the NEET PG admit card on its official website on 8 Aug 2024. Applicants must log in to the website using their registration ID and password to access and download their admit card. However, the candidates who are found ineligible will not receive the admit card for the exam.
