Learning from the previous year’s issues, NEET PG 2025 will return to a single-session format. This is expected to offer a fairer testing environment, with all candidates attempting the same set of questions at the same time.
In 2024, NEET PG was conducted in two shifts for the first time, sparking dissatisfaction among aspirants. Concerns were raised over varying difficulty levels between shifts, which many felt could affect scoring equity. Students also demanded the release of answer keys, raw scores, and normalized results for greater transparency.
Following the 2024 backlash, students have consistently called for greater transparency in scoring and counseling. Some even filed petitions requesting the release of raw data and postponement of counseling until all discrepancies were addressed. This year, with a single-shift format, many are optimistic about a more transparent and consistent evaluation process.
The NEET PG 2025 results are expected to be declared by early September 2025. With the new city selection window open until June 17, candidates should ensure they finalize their preferences in time. NBEMS will publish the admit cards by 31 July and city intimation slips by 21 July which is closer to the exam date.
