Tripura NEET PG Counselling 2024: Tripura NEET PG 2024 counselling is being conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) for admission to post-graduate medical courses in the state's medical colleges. The Round 3 institute reporting deadline has been extended to February 15, 2025, 5 PM. The Online Stray Vacancy Round will begin soon.

The Round 3 result was released on February 7, 2025, and the registration window was reopened from January 16 to January 20, 2025. The last date to surrender or resign from seats in Round 1 and Round 2 has been extended to January 29, 2025. The revised Round 3 seat matrix shows 23 available seats. DME also clarified that the UR-PwD seat for the MD Community Medicine course will now be considered a regular Unreserved (UR) seat, as no PwD candidates registered.

The counselling process includes four rounds, including a mop-up round. Seats are allotted based on the candidate's NEET PG rank, preferences, available seats, and reservation criteria. All rounds, except the mop-up, are conducted online, involving registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting. Candidates must have qualified in NEET PG 2024 to participate in the counselling process.

• Domicile: The candidate must be a citizen of India and have a domicile in Tripura.
• Academic: The applicants must have completed their MBBS degree from a medical institute recognized by the NMC and have the registration certificate from Tripura State Medical Council.
• Qualifying Exam: The candidate must have qualified for the NEET PG 2024 exam.
• Internship : The mandatory one-year MBBS internship must be completed.
• Registration : The candidate must have registration with NMC and Tripura SMC.
