How Many Days Left for NEET 2026

Body Fluids and Circulation NEET Mindmap: The chapter Body Fluids and Circulation is very important for all candidates studying for the NEET exam. This chapter teaches how different liquids, like blood, move through the body to keep every part working well.

Think body as a big city, and blood is the delivery truck that brings food and takes away garbage. A Body Fluids and Circulation NEET Mindmap is like a simple, easy-to-read map of this city. It helps candidates remember complex things easily and quickly, which is very helpful when revising before the exam.

Body Fluids and Circulation NEET Mindmap

A mindmap is a visual tool. It puts the main topic in the middle of a page and draws lines to smaller, related topics. For the Body Fluids and Circulation NEET Mindmap, the main topic is "Body Fluids and Circulation." The main branches coming out are: Blood, Lymph, Circulatory Pathways (Heart), and Disorders.

This kind of chart helps candidates understand how all the small pieces of information fit together to make the whole system work. It makes studying simpler because you can see everything on one page. Candidates should try to draw their own mindmap to help them remember.

Key Connections in the Mindmap:

  • Heart pumps the Blood.

  • Blood is made of Plasma and Formed Elements (RBC, WBC, Platelets).

  • Lymph is part of the fluid system and flows in separate vessels.

  • The system works through a Cardiac Cycle and Double Circulation.

 Blood Components

Blood is the most important fluid in our body. It is red and thick. It makes up about 7%of a candidate's total body weight. It moves everywhere to deliver things. Blood has two main parts. Candidates need to know the parts and their exact jobs.

 Lymph

Lymph is another important body fluid. It is sometimes called tissue fluid or interstitial fluid because it is the fluid that leaves the blood and fills the space between cells. Lymph travels through a network of tiny tubes called the Lymphatic System. This system also has small glands called lymph nodes, which trap germs. Candidates can refer to the blood fluids and circulation NEET mindmap for the revision.

Heart Structure

The Heart is the body's main pump. It works all the time, never resting, to push blood throughout the whole body. It is a strong, muscular organ protected in the chest, slightly tilted to the left.

Chambers: The human heart has four chambers (rooms).

  • Two upper chambers called Atria (Right Atrium and Left Atrium).

  • Two lower chambers called Ventricles (Right Ventricle and Left Ventricle).

Valves: The heart has special doors called Valves that make sure blood flows in only one direction.

 Cardiac Cycle

A single Cardiac Cycle is one complete heartbeat. This happens in about $0.8$ seconds for a candidate resting normally. The cycle involves the squeezing and relaxing of the heart chambers.

  • Systole: When the heart chambers squeeze to push blood out.

  • Diastole: When the heart chambers relax to fill up with blood.

The doctor hears the two main heart sounds, "Lub" and "Dub," during one cardiac cycle.

Double Circulation

Humans have Double Circulation. This means the blood travels through the heart twice to complete one full loop around the body. This system is very good because it keeps the oxygen-rich blood completely separate from the oxygen-poor blood. This gives the body a lot of oxygen, which is needed for high energy.

  • Pulmonary Circulation: Blood goes from the heart to the lungs and back to the heart.

  • Systemic Circulation: Blood goes from the heart to all other parts of the body and back to the heart.

Blood Pressure

Blood Pressure (BP) is the force that blood pushes against the walls of the blood vessels (arteries).

  • Normal BP: It is usually written as 120/80 mmHg.

    • 120 is the Systolic Pressure (when the heart squeezes).

    • 80 is the Diastolic Pressure (when the heart relaxes).

  • Hypertension: If the blood pressure is too high, it is called high blood pressure.

Body Fluids and Circulation NEET Mindmap FAQs

What are the key topics in the Body Fluids and Circulation NEET Mindmap?

Body Fluids and Circulation NEET Mindmaps cover the important topics related to the heart, lymph, blood circulation, and blood pressure. Candidates preparing for NEET can revise the important topics for the exam.

What is the role of the Sino-Atrial Node (SAN) in the heart?

The Sino-Atrial Node (SAN) is a small piece of special muscle tissue in the Right Atrium. It is called the pacemaker of the heart because it starts the electrical signal that makes the heart beat rhythmically.

What happens in the body during a 'blood clot'?

A blood clot is a defense mechanism. When a candidate has a cut, the platelets and a protein called Fibrinogen work together to form a jelly-like plug. This plug stops the blood from leaking out and prevents excessive blood loss.

Why is the Left Ventricle wall thicker than the Right Ventricle wall?

The wall of the Left Ventricle is much thicker because it has to pump oxygenated blood to the entire rest of the body. The Right Ventricle only pumps blood a short distance to the lungs.
