How to Crack NEET in 6 Months

Preparing for NEET and cracking it in just 6 months might seem tough, but with the right approach, it can be done. Focus on a smart plan, consistent study, and regular practice. Each day must be optimized for maximum productivity, and all subjects need to be studied based on their weightage and difficulty.

Step 1: Make a List of the Syllabus

  • Make a list of all chapters of Class 11 and 12 for Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

  • Mark the chapters which carry a high number of marks in the previous years’ NEET.

  • If you are a dropper then highlight the weak areas which you need to study more.

Step 2: Divide your 6 months

  • The first 4 Months: Try to complete the entire syllabus. Give special attention to Biology and all the weak topics of Physics and Chemistry.

  • Next 1.5 Months: Revision of all subjects. Do multiple revisions and make short notes and learn important formulas.

  • Last 0.5 Month: Solve previous year questions and attempt mock tests to increase speed and accuracy.

Step 3: Daily Study Plan

  • Plan for 3–4 hours of Biology, 3 hours of Physics, and 2–3 hours of Chemistry.

  • For regular students who are in schools or colleges, you must strike a healthy balance between regular studies, coaching classes, and self-study. If you are a dropper, you can study 10–12 hours a day.

  • Take small breaks in between your study sessions so that you don’t get burned out.

Step 4: Practice and Revision

  • Practice at least 100–150 MCQs every day from all the three subjects.

  • Daily revision of short notes for important formulas, reactions, and important Biology diagrams.

  • Attempt at least one weekly mock test to track your progress and weak areas.

Step 5: Important Tips

  • Give more importance to NCERT for all subjects but give extra focus on Biology and Inorganic Chemistry.
  • Prepare short notes for quick revision in the last month before the exam.
  • Attempt as many previous year NEET question papers as possible to recognize the pattern which repeats every year.

Step 6: Be Consistent and Positive

  • Try to be consistent in your study plan rather than studying for a very long time in one go.

  • Stay positive and avoid all kinds of distractions.

  • Revision and practice will make you more confident and will help you crack NEET in just 6 months.
