

Government Medical Colleges in UP: Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state in India, with a vast network of government medical colleges. There are a total of 44 government medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh with 5375 MBBS seats every year. These medical colleges are run by both the state government and the central government, providing quality medical education to students at a nominal cost.
These medical colleges are NMC-approved. They offer MBBS courses and Postgraduate medical education in different departments. Students from across the state take admission in these colleges on the basis of NEET UG. The admission process is done through UP state counselling, and seat allotments are made on the basis of merit and NEET scores.
Government medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh are situated in different regions of UP like western UP, eastern UP, central UP and Bundelkhand.
