  • Mandatory Aadhaar biometric authentication will be in place at all exam centres.

City Intimation Slip vs Admit Card: Know the Difference

Many students are confusing the two documents. Here is a clear breakdown:

Feature City Intimation Slip Admit Card
Currently available Yes, released  Expected by June 14
Shows exam city  Yes  Yes
Shows exact exam centre address No Yes
Shows reporting time No Yes
Entry pass to exam hall  No Yes
Must carry on exam day  Not required Mandatory

Even if you have already downloaded the city slip, you still need to download and print the admit card once NTA releases it.

What Happens Next?

Once the Re-NEET 2026 exam is conducted on June 21:

  • NTA will release the provisional answer key — candidates can raise objections against it within the stipulated window.
  • After objection resolution, the final answer key and NEET UG 2026 result/scorecard will be published at neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Based on the result, NEET UG 2026 counselling (AIQ and state quota) will be initiated by MCC and state counselling authorities.
  • Dates for the answer key and result have not yet been announced officially.

During the NEET UG 2024 re-exam, NTA issued the admit card on June 20, 2024, for 1,563 students, just 3 days before the re-examination scheduled on June 23, 2024. Based on this precedent, students should expect the 2026 re-exam admit card between June 14 and 18, 2026, with the Education Minister's June 14 commitment serving as the official deadline.
