The MCC NEET UG Counselling Registration 2026 process allows eligible NEET UG candidates to participate in AIQ, Deemed University, Central University, and other counselling rounds. This guide explains the MCC Registration Process 2026 step by step—from creating an account to paying the counselling fee and filling college choices.
Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 and wish to participate in Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) counselling must complete the online registration through the official MCC portal. The registration includes creating an account, filling personal and academic details, uploading required information, paying the registration fee, and completing the choice filling process. This MCC Registration Guide walks you through every stage of the registration process.
Candidates who have qualified the NEET UG 2026 examination conducted by NTA can register for MCC counselling. The MCC conducts counselling for:
15% All India Quota (AIQ) MBBS/BDS Seats
100% Deemed Universities
AIIMS Institutions
JIPMER (Puducherry & Karaikal)
Central Universities (BHU, AMU, DU, Jamia, etc.)
ESIC Institutions

Candidates must register online through the MCC portal. MCC does not allot seats manually or through nominations.
Following the NEET UG Counselling Schedule 2026 is important. Missing any deadline may result in losing the allotted seat.

After successfully completing registration and choice filling, the counselling process continues through the following stages:
Seat Allotment based on NEET rank and filled preferences.
Candidates receiving a seat must choose either:
Freeze – Accept the allotted seat without seeking an upgrade.
Float – Accept the seat while remaining eligible for upgradation in the next round.
Upload mandatory documents for verification.
Complete document verification.
Download the allotment/provisional admission letter.
Report to the allotted institute as per the applicable reporting process.
MCC has introduced the Freeze and Float options to make counselling more convenient for candidates.
Use only the official MCC counselling portal.
Register using your own mobile number and email ID.
Fill the form yourself instead of relying on third parties.
Verify every detail before final submission.
Keep your password confidential.
Save the payment receipt after successful registration.
Arrange college choices according to your genuine preference rather than popularity.
| Freeze | Float |
| Candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat. | Candidate wants a better seat in the next round. |
| Physical reporting at the allotted institute is required. | Documents are verified online initially. |
| No upgradation is requested. | Eligible for upgradation in the next counselling round. |
| Admission gets confirmed after document verification. | Seat remains provisional until further counselling. |
This is one of the biggest changes introduced in MCC Counselling 2026.
Candidates should avoid these common mistakes:
Registering multiple times.
Using a different mobile number than the one registered with NTA.
Uploading unclear or incorrect bank documents.
Entering incorrect category or qualification details.
Forgetting to lock college choices.
Choosing colleges without checking fees or bond conditions.
Missing counselling deadlines.
