J&K NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Selection List: The J&K BOPEE has published the J&K NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Selection List on 18 August 2025. Selected candidates can now view their allotted college and course information. Round 1 is for admission under 85% state quota in the Jammu & Kashmir govt. medical and dental colleges.

1176 candidates have been placed in the selection list for MBBS and BDS courses. Students can now complete the admission process as per the steps to be followed by eligible candidates before the due date.

The J&K NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Selection List PDF has been released, listing around 1176 candidates who are provisionally selected for MBBS and BDS admissions under the 85% state quota in government medical and dental colleges of Jammu & Kashmir.

Candidates can check and download the selection list PDF from the official JKBOPEE website. The PDF contains important details such as candidate name, NEET roll number, allotted college, course, and category.

Steps to Check J&K NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Selection List

Students can use the following steps to check selection status-

• Go to the official JKBOPEE website.

• On the homepage, find the link for Provisional Selection List of candidates of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh for MBBS/BDS Courses-2025.

• The selection list or seat allotment result will open in PDF format.

• Check your name in the PDF whether you are selected or not.

• Download and save the PDF and take printout if required.

The Board has already notified Round 1 online counselling, which involved several processes including submission of preferences, physical/online verification and reporting to colleges. Round 1 counselling schedule is as follows:

Provisionally selected candidates in Round 1 should produce all the necessary documents along with them on the day of verification/admission at the specified college:

• Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation).

• 10+2 Marks Card.

• Domicile Certificate.

• Valid Category Certificate, if applicable, dated on or before 30 July 2025.

• Valid Poor & Backward Category Certificate, if selected in this category.

• NEET 2025 Score Card.

• Compulsory Service Bond (UT of Ladakh candidates only)

What’s Next After J&K NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Selection List

Students who appear for J&K NEET UG 2025 Round 1 have two possibilities after the release of the Selection List, to be allotted a seat or to be not allotted a seat.

If You Are Allotted a Seat

Candidates who are allotted a seat must download their allotment letter from the JKBOPEE portal and preserve it safely. The allotted candidate should appear in the allotted medical or dental college before 22 August 2025 with the necessary documents. Verification of documents will be done, and upon successful verification, the admission fee must be paid, after which the seat will be confirmed. The candidate who is allotted a seat can either keep the seat or participate in the Round 2 to get an upgradation of the seat.

If You Are Not Allotted a Seat

Candidates who are not allotted a seat can keep calm and wait for Round 2, in which all the un-allotted seats from Round 1 will be given. Candidates can change and rearrange their preferences for medical or dental colleges on the basis of previous allotment data. One can also go through the Round 1 cut-off trends. If not allotted a seat after the Round 2 Selection List is out, then there is the Mop-Up Round for the last chance of admission.
