Puducherry NEET Merit List 2025 Tie-Breaking Criteria

In the event of a tie, where two or more applicants have the same rank, the following tie-breaking criteria will be applied:

1. Applicants with higher marks in Biology will be given a higher rank and preference.
2. If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in Chemistry will be given preference.
3. If the tie still remains, the applicant with fewer negative marks will be prioritized.
4. If the tie is not resolved, the older applicant will be preferred.

Puducherry NEET Counselling Process 2025

The following are the steps to apply for Puducherry NEET Counselling 2025:

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to https://www.centacpuducherry.in/ .
2. Online Application: To apply for MBBS admission, submit an online application form on the CENTAC Puducherry website. Click on "Group II," which covers professional courses (MBBS, BDS, etc.).
3. Create an Account: On the MBBS admissions dashboard, click ‘Sign Up.’ Enter your registered mobile number, email, and other details to create a login account. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number; enter this OTP to complete the pre-registration process and create your account.
4. Fill Out the Application Form: Log in with your credentials. The online application form will appear. Fill in all personal details carefully and select your college preferences. Applications with incomplete or incorrect information will be rejected.
5. Upload Documents: Upload a scanned passport-sized photograph in JPEG format, with a file size between 20KB and 50KB. Additionally, upload self-attested copies of the following documents:

• Nationality/Domicile/Residence Certificate
• Class 10 and Class 12 Certificates/Mark Sheets
• Regional Reservation Certificate (if applicable)
• Category Certificate (if applicable)

6. Pay the Counselling Fee: After completing the previous steps, proceed to pay the counselling fee. The fee is Rs. 1,000 for the general category and Rs. 500 for reserved categories.
7. Print the Application Form: After payment, print out the completed application form and wait for the seat allotment results.
