AP EAMCET Result 2026: Key Highlights at a Glance

AP EAPCET Result 2026 Date and Time: Why Is There a Delay?

The AP EAMCET 2026 result was originally anticipated around June 1, then shifted to June 18, and again to June 19 — none of which materialised. So what is causing the delay?

The hold-up is rooted in a multi-step backend process that APSCHE must complete before ranks are published:

1. Integration of AP Inter Supplementary Marks: The AP Intermediate Advanced Supplementary results were declared on June 18, 2026. APSCHE needs to incorporate these marks from BIEAP (Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh) into the final rank calculation, since 25% weightage is given to Intermediate group subject scores.

2. Normalisation of EAPCET Scores Across Shifts: Since AP EAPCET 2026 was conducted in multiple shifts across several days, APSCHE applies a score normalisation process to ensure that candidates are not disadvantaged due to variation in paper difficulty across sessions. This normalisation is taking longer than initially anticipated.

3. Final Answer Key Objection Resolution: After the provisional answer key was released on May 25 and the objection window closed on May 27, authorities have been reviewing challenges submitted by candidates before freezing the final answer key and computing marks.

Once all three processes are complete, the final rank list will be prepared and published. As things stand on June 22, 2026, the most reliable estimate puts the AP EAPCET result 2026 release by June 28, 2026. Manabadi sources have also cited June 22 as a possible date, though that window now appears to have passed without an announcement.

Candidates are strongly advised to check only cets.apsche.ap.gov.in for the official result link and ignore unverified social media claims.

AP EAMCET 2026 Qualifying Marks: What Do You Need to Score?

Not every candidate who appears in AP EAPCET 2026 automatically gets a rank. There are category-wise minimum qualifying criteria:

General / Open Category: Candidates must score a minimum of 40 marks out of 160 (which equals 25% of total marks) to be eligible for a state rank.

SC / ST Category: There is no minimum qualifying mark for SC/ST candidates. Every SC/ST aspirant who appeared for the exam will be assigned a rank under APSCHE rules, regardless of their score.

OBC / EWS / PH: These candidates follow the General category qualifying mark rule — a minimum of 40 marks is required.

Remember: Qualifying in AP EAPCET simply means becoming eligible for counselling. Your actual seat depends on your state rank, category, and choice of college and branch during the web options round.

How Is the AP EAMCET 2026 Rank Calculated?

The AP EAPCET 2026 final rank is not based purely on your entrance exam score. APSCHE uses a weighted formula:

• 75% weightage from your normalised AP EAPCET 2026 score

• 25% weightage from your Intermediate (Class 12) group subject marks (Mathematics/Biology/Physics/Chemistry as applicable)

This is why integrating the AP Inter Supplementary marks into the system was essential before declaring the result — candidates who appeared for supplementary exams needed their marks to be factored into the final rank list.

Marks vs Rank Estimate (Engineering Stream):

Note: These are estimates based on historical patterns. Actual ranks will vary based on normalisation and overall candidate performance in 2026.
