The wait is over for over three lakh students across Andhra Pradesh. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), through JNTU Kakinada, has declared the AP EAMCET 2026 results today, with the engineering and pharmacy stream scores released together on the official portal, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The announcement comes after weeks of anticipation, with the result date shifting multiple times as authorities worked to align rank calculations with the Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) supplementary results.
The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET), commonly referred to as AP EAMCET, was conducted between May 12 and May 20, 2026, for students seeking admission to undergraduate professional courses in engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy across the state.
Candidates can follow these steps to download their AP EAMCET 2026 rank card and scorecard:
Step 1: Visit the official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in or cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/EAPCET.
Step 2: Click on the "AP EAMCET Results 2026" or "AP EAPCET Rank Card 2026" link on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your registration number, date of birth (or hall ticket number, as applicable) and the captcha code.
Step 4: Click submit to view your AP EAMCET result on screen.
Step 5: Download the scorecard and keep a printout safe for the counselling process.
The rank card displays the candidate's name, roll number, parents' names, category details (where applicable), subject-wise marks, total marks, and the final EAPCET rank, which is central to the upcoming seat allotment process.
The AP EAMCET 2026 merit rank is determined using a weighted formula that combines entrance test performance with Class 12 academic scores. Specifically, 75 per cent weightage is given to marks scored in the AP EAPCET exam, while the remaining 25 per cent is based on Intermediate (Class 12) board marks. This is why the result was tied to BIEAP's supplementary and improvement exam outcomes, ensuring no candidate's composite rank shifts unfairly.
To qualify and be eligible for a rank, candidates in the open category must score at least 25 per cent, or 40 marks out of 160, in the entrance exam. Those who fail to clear this minimum threshold will not be assigned a rank and will be ineligible to participate in counselling. Reserved category candidates, including SC and ST students, are exempt from this minimum qualifying mark requirement.
With results out, attention now shifts to the AP EAMCET counselling process, which APSCHE is expected to announce shortly through a separate notification. Based on past patterns, the counselling process typically involves the following stages:
If candidates notice any discrepancy in their name, category, marks, or other details on the AP EAMCET 2026 rank card, they should immediately contact the APSCHE/JNTUK helpdesk or raise the issue through the official grievance redressal channel mentioned on the results portal, rather than waiting until counselling begins.
