APSCHE has officially decided to delay the declaration of AP EAMCET 2026 results. While the results were expected on June 1, the decision has been made that the results shall be declared after June 18, 2026, upon completion of the Intermediate Supplementary and Improvement examinations evaluation. This delay came as the Andhra Pradesh state government permitted second-year Intermediate students to take Advanced Supplementary and Improvement examinations. IPE marks carry 25% weightage in the EAPCET final rank calculation.
APSCHE determined that releasing the entrance exam results on June 1 would lead to unnecessary confusion, as students appearing for the improvement exam might witness a change in their group subject marks. Re-allocating ranks for these students would require changing ranks for all EAMCET takers — a process that cannot be done mid-declaration.
In 2025, 3.62 lakh candidates registered for the exam, out of which 3.40 lakh appeared, with 1.89 lakh qualifying in Engineering and 67,761 in Agriculture and Pharmacy. The 2026 competition is expected to be equally fierce, with approximately 3.5 lakh candidates believed to have appeared across both streams.
The Intermediate Advanced Supplementary exams are scheduled to end on June 5, 2026. Approximately 1.50 lakh students are appearing for these exams, with nearly one lakh students writing the Mathematics exam alone. There is an estimated 13-day evaluation period after June 5. School Education Secretary Kona Sasidhar has issued strict instructions to the Intermediate board to expedite the evaluation process, with the objective of releasing supplementary scores rapidly so that EAPCET ranks can be generated within a day or two of their declaration — mostly by June 21, 2026.
What candidates should do now: Do not panic. Your exam performance is recorded and safe. Keep visiting cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and bookmark this page for the latest update. The result will be declared as soon as Intermediate supplementary evaluation is completed.
11:00 AM IST — Result Delayed This Month — APSCHE Yet to Issue Official Notification
The AP EAMCET 2026 result was tentatively scheduled for June 1, 2026, but has not been declared. APSCHE has not issued any official notification about a delay, and neither the official website nor its social media channels have confirmed any change in the result schedule as of this writing. However, reports from CollegeDekho and other platforms indicate the result will come after June 18, 2026, following the conclusion of Intermediate Supplementary examinations and their evaluation. Candidates should keep visiting cets.apsche.ap.gov.in for the official declaration. We will update this page the moment results go live.
Qualified candidates will participate in the AP EAPCET counselling process through online registration, certificate verification, web-option entry, and seat allotment rounds. Students should keep important documents ready, including their rank card, hall ticket, Class 10 and 12 certificates, income and caste certificates (if applicable), and residence proof. With the result delayed beyond June 1, the counselling schedule — previously expected in July 2026 — may also shift. The detailed counselling schedule will be updated on the official APSCHE website following result declaration.
APSCHE has officially decided to delay the AP EAMCET 2026 result. The results will be declared after June 18, 2026, following the completion of Intermediate Supplementary and Improvement examinations evaluation. The delay was necessitated because approximately 1.50 lakh Intermediate students are writing Advanced Supplementary and Improvement exams, and their Class 12 marks — which carry 25% weightage in the final EAPCET rank — could change after the supplementary results. APSCHE did not want to release ranks that would need to be recalculated for a significant number of students
Qualified candidates will participate in the AP EAPCET 2026 counselling process entirely through the online mode. The process will include four stages: online registration on the APSCHE counselling portal, certificate verification at designated help centres, web-option entry for college and branch preferences, and seat allotment rounds. With the result now delayed beyond June 18, counselling is expected to shift further from its tentative July start date. The official counselling schedule will be released by APSCHE after results are declared.
Qualified candidates will participate in the AP EAPCET 2026 counselling process entirely through the online mode. The process will include four distinct stages: online registration on the APSCHE counselling portal, certificate verification at designated help centres, web-option entry for college and branch preferences, and seat allotment rounds. Candidates are advised to keep all documents — rank card, Class 12 marksheet, category certificate, Aadhaar card, and passport-size photographs — scanned and ready in prescribed formats before counselling registration opens. The counselling schedule will be released by APSCHE on cets.apsche.ap.gov.in after the result is officially processed. Tentatively, it is expected to begin in July 2026.
AP EAMCET Result 2026 Date and Time
APSCHE released the AP EAPCET 2026 provisional answer key on May 25, shortly after the completion of all exam sessions. Candidates who disagreed with any answer in the provisional key were given a window to submit objections until May 27, 2026. After the objection period closed, subject experts reviewed all challenges raised, and the final answer key was prepared accordingly. The result declared today on June 1 is based on this final, verified answer key. Candidates who raised objections and whose challenges were accepted will see those corrections already reflected in their final scores and rank card.
APSCHE issues separate rank cards for candidates belonging to the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream. These rank cards are distinct from the Engineering stream rank cards and are specifically used during Agriculture and Pharmacy stream admissions and counselling. Candidates of this stream should ensure they download the correct rank card from cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/EAPCET using their respective credentials.
For the Engineering stream, candidates from the open category are required to secure at least 40 marks out of 160 to qualify in AP EAPCET 2026. This translates to the minimum qualifying threshold of 25% of total marks. Reserved category candidates benefit from relaxed qualifying norms. Candidates scoring below 40 marks in the open category will receive a rank card but will not be eligible for counselling-based seat allotment.
Since AP EAPCET 2026 was conducted across multiple sessions between May 12 and May 20, APSCHE follows a standard normalisation process to ensure fairness and maintain parity among candidates who appeared in different shifts. A candidate who sat a harder paper will not be disadvantaged against one who sat an easier session. The normalisation formula accounts for the average marks of the top 0.1% of candidates within a session compared to the top 0.1% globally across all sessions.
AP EAPCET 2026 was conducted for a total of 160 marks. The paper structure was as follows: Mathematics or Biology carrying 80 marks, and Physics and Chemistry carrying 40 marks each. All questions were objective type (MCQ) in a computer-based format.
Alongside the AP EAPCET 2026 results, APSCHE will also publish rank cards simultaneously. Candidates can access both the scorecard and the rank card from the official examination website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in using their registration number and hall ticket number. There is no separate login or separate link needed — both documents are accessible through the same portal.

Quick FAQ — Result page not loading? With 3.5 lakh candidates hitting the server simultaneously, slowdowns are normal. Try refreshing after 5–10 minutes, switch to Chrome or Firefox, or try APSCHE's myCET mobile app (available on Google Play Store). The result link remains active for weeks.
The AP EAMCET 2026 result scorecard includes the candidate's name, gender, category, father's name, local area, hall ticket number, stream, registration number, combined score, qualifying status, AP EAMCET weightage, secured marks, group total, and maximum scores.
The rank card additionally displays:
Overall state merit rank
Category rank (SC/ST/BC/OC/EWS) — crucial for reservation-based seat allocation during counselling
Qualifying status — Qualified or Not Qualified
AP EAPCET is a computer-based test for 160 total marks, structured as:
| Subject | Marks |
| Mathematics (Engineering) / Biology (Agriculture & Pharmacy) | 80 |
| Physics | 40 |
| Chemistry | 40 |
| Total | 160 |
The AP EAMCET rank is based on a combined merit score: 75% weightage is given to marks secured in the AP EAMCET entrance exam out of 160, and 25% weightage is given to qualifying exam (Intermediate/Class 12) marks in relevant subjects — PCM for Engineering, and PCB for Agriculture and Pharmacy. A candidate scoring 140 in EAMCET with very high Intermediate marks could rank higher than a candidate who scored 145 in EAMCET but has low Intermediate marks.
This is why APSCHE asked all candidates to submit their Class 12 marks after the exam. Your board performance materially impacts your final rank.
Normalisation Formula:
Since the exam is held across multiple sessions, the AP EAMCET 2026 normalisation process adjusts scores across multiple exam shifts to ensure fairness. The formula is: GMS + (Top Average Global – GMS) / (Top Average Session – SMS) × (Marks Obtained by the applicant – SMS).
Where:
GMS = Global Mean Score (average of all candidates across all sessions)
SMS = Session Mean Score (average of candidates in that specific session)
Top Average Global = Average of top 0.1% across all sessions
Top Average Session = Average of top 0.1% within that session
| Category | Minimum Qualifying Marks (out of 160) |
| General / OC | 40 marks (25%) |
| SC / ST / BC | Relaxed norms apply |
There is no separate subject-wise minimum. The threshold applies to the total normalised score.
Quick FAQ — What if normalised marks go negative? If after normalisation a candidate's marks in any individual subject become negative, those marks are treated as zero. However, the total marks across all three subjects are considered as the EAPCET score. If all three subjects go negative for a non-qualifying candidate, the total is treated as zero and a rank is still assigned.
| Year | Engineering Pass % | Agriculture & Pharmacy Pass % |
| 2025 | 71.65% | 89.80% |
| 2024 | 75.50% | 87.11% |
| 2023 | 76.32% | 89.65% |
| 2022 | 89.12% | — |
The overall Engineering stream pass percentage in 2025 stood at 71.65%, while the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream recorded a pass rate of 89.8%. The 2026 qualifying percentage will be officially announced alongside the result.
The AP EAMCET 2026 toppers list is expected to be released along with the result on June 1, 2026. In 2025, Anirudh Reddy (percentile score 96.3969) from Hyderabad topped the Engineering stream, and Ramayana Venkata Nagasai Harshavardhan (94.1836) from Krishna District topped the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream. Based on previous year trends, the Engineering stream Rank 1 holder typically scores 155 or above out of 160 marks, while the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream topper secures 150 or above.
No All India Rank is assigned — AP EAMCET is a state-level exam and all ranks are Andhra Pradesh state ranks only.
Following the declaration of results, APSCHE is expected to announce the AP EAMCET 2026 counselling schedule, certificate verification dates, and web option entry process. Counselling is tentatively expected to begin in July 2026.
The counselling, document verification, and seat allotment processes will begin for qualified candidates after the result declaration.
Steps in counselling:
Register on the APSCHE counselling portal
Upload documents — rank card, Class 12 marksheet, category certificate, Aadhaar
Enter college and branch preferences (web options)
Attend certificate verification at a designated help centre
Accept allotted seat and pay the seat acceptance fee within the deadline
Cut-offs are released as opening and closing ranks per college and branch. Based on verified historical trends:
| Stream / Branch | General Category Rank (Approx.) |
| CSE — Top government colleges | Under 3,000–5,000 |
| CSE — Private colleges | Up to 30,000–40,000 |
| ECE / EEE / Mechanical | Accessible at much higher ranks |
| Agriculture (government seats) | Under 5,000 |
In 2024, 75.5% of engineering students passed while agriculture candidates recorded 87.11%. The 2026 cut-offs will be shaped by overall difficulty level and the number of qualified candidates.
