The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh (AP SBTET) has released the AP POLYCET 2026 counselling schedule for admission to diploma courses in polytechnic colleges across the state. Candidates who qualified the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test can register for the counselling process on the official website, polycet.ap.gov.in. Registration begins on June 24 and the last date to apply is June 30, 2026.
Qualified candidates must complete three key steps to stay in the admission race: register on the portal, pay the prescribed counselling fee, and finish certificate verification. The AP POLYCET 2026 result was declared on May 5, 2026.
While filling the registration form, candidates are required to pay an application fee based on their category. OC and BC candidates must pay Rs 700, while SC and ST candidates must pay Rs 250. The fee can be paid online through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

After candidates register, their documents are verified online. Students whose online verification is completed and who do not require any corrections are not required to visit a Help Line Centre.
However, candidates applying under special categories, those who want to correct their details, and those found ineligible for web options after online verification must visit the respective HLC for physical certificate verification. This step is mandatory for these applicants before they can proceed to web options.
AP POLYCET 2026 Web Options Entry
Once verification is complete, candidates can exercise their web options for college and branch allotment from June 29 to July 3. A correction window opens on July 4, allowing students to change their web options for a single day. No further changes will be permitted after July 4, so candidates are advised to lock their preferred choices carefully and in order of priority.
The AP POLYCET 2026 seat allotment result will be announced on July 6, 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats must complete self-reporting and report to their allotted colleges between July 7 and July 10 to confirm their admission. Classes for diploma courses will commence on July 7, 2026.
This year, the AP POLYCET 2026 exam recorded a strong pass percentage, with nearly 1.5 lakh candidates qualifying for admission to diploma seats across hundreds of polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh. With limited seats available in top government and private polytechnics, candidates are advised to register early and complete all steps well before the June 30 deadline.
