The Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026 registration process for Round 3 will start on October 3. Candidates who meet the eligibility conditions can submit their application-cum-choice filling through the UGMAC 2026 online portal.
BCECEB has stated that Round 3 registration is open to eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates who have not registered or completed the earlier application process, subject to the conditions specified in the notice. Candidates who have already submitted an application in an earlier round may also need to provide consent or complete the applicable Round 3 process.
Candidates should complete the application, payment and choice filling within the prescribed deadline. BCECEB has specifically stated that no additional opportunity will be provided after the Round 3 registration deadline.
UGMAC 2026 Round 3 is being conducted for eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates seeking admission to undergraduate medical, dental, veterinary and fisheries courses covered under the counselling process.
Candidates who have already taken final admission after Round 1 or Round 2 are not eligible for Round 3 under the conditions specified by BCECEB. The board has also laid down separate provisions for candidates whose seats were cancelled, candidates who did not receive a seat and eligible Round 2 candidates seeking participation in Round 3.
Candidates should therefore check their individual status on the UGMAC portal before applying for the third round.
BCECEB has published the updated Round 3 seat matrix after completion of Round 2 counselling. The vacancies are being considered for government and private medical and dental colleges as well as government veterinary and fisheries colleges covered under UGMAC 2026.
The board has also cautioned candidates that additional vacancies may arise due to resignation or other changes. Any further updated seat matrix will be published on the BCECEB website. Candidates should check the latest seat availability before submitting their choices.
Candidates can complete the UGMAC 2026 Round 3 process by following the steps given below:
Visit the official BCECEB website.

Complete registration using the required NEET UG 2026 details.
Fill in the application form and upload the required documents.
Pay the applicable counselling fee and security deposit.
Fill in the preferred courses and colleges in order of preference.
Save and lock the choices before the deadline.

BCECEB states that candidates must complete final submission and payment within the prescribed period. Merely filling the application without completing the required payment and final submission will not make the application eligible for seat allotment.
The Bihar NEET Counselling 2026 result for Round 3 will be released in the form of a provisional seat allotment result. BCECEB has scheduled the UGMAC Round 3 provisional seat allotment result for October 14, 2026.
Candidates who are allotted a seat will be able to download the provisional seat allotment order from October 14 to October 17. Document verification and admission are scheduled for October 16 and October 17.
The seat allotment will be conducted on a merit-cum-choice basis, according to the BCECEB notice. Candidates allotted a seat must upload the required documents for online verification and subsequently report physically to the allotted institution within the prescribed period.
The UGMAC 2026 Round 3 Rank Card will be published on October 8, 2026.
Candidates can download their rank card from the BCECEB website by selecting the Round 3 Rank Card link and entering their UGMAC ID and date of birth. The rank is prepared based on the candidate's NEET UG 2026 All India Rank and the applicable counselling rules.
The Rank Card is an important document for the next stage of the counselling process, so candidates should download and retain a copy.
Choice filling is an important part of the Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3 process. Candidates need to select their preferred courses and colleges in order of preference after completing the applicable registration and payment requirements.
The last date for choice filling, editing and locking is October 9, 2026, up to 11:59 PM. BCECEB has advised candidates to save their choices and complete the locking process within the prescribed deadline.
Candidates should review their choices carefully before locking them because the submitted choices will be considered during the seat allotment process.
Candidates allotted MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. or B.F.Sc. seats in Round 3 will have to complete the applicable document verification and admission process.
For MBBS and BDS seats, candidates who receive an allotment must upload clear scanned copies of the required original documents for online verification. They must also report physically to the allotted institution with the original documents during the prescribed verification period.
Candidates should note that failure to report, failure to complete admission or failure to meet the document verification requirements can result in cancellation of the allotted seat and forfeiture of the applicable security deposit under the rules specified by BCECEB.
Candidates allotted a seat should keep the required documents ready. The BCECEB notice includes documents such as:
NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
NEET UG 2026 Score Card
UGMAC 2026 Rank Card
Class 10 or equivalent certificate/marksheet
Class 12 or equivalent certificate/marksheet
Residential Certificate
Caste or EWS Certificate, where applicable
DQ, NRI, Minority or Ward Quota documents, where applicable

Candidates participating in UGMAC Round 3 are required to pay the applicable counselling fee and, where applicable, a security deposit.
For government medical, dental, veterinary and fisheries colleges, BCECEB has specified a counselling fee of Rs 1,200 for UR, EWS, BC and EBC candidates and Rs 600 for SC, ST and DQ candidates. The counselling fee for private college options is Rs 1,200, with security deposit requirements varying according to the type of institution and choices selected.
Candidates should check the fee and security deposit applicable to their selected college options before submitting the application.
Round 3 is being conducted against vacancies remaining after the earlier counselling rounds. BCECEB has also stated that virtual vacancies may arise because of upgradation of candidates from Round 2.
Candidates participating in Round 3 should therefore check the updated seat matrix, review their eligibility and fill choices carefully. The board has made it mandatory for eligible candidates to fill and lock choices to be considered for seat allotment.
Candidates who participate in Round 3 but do not receive a seat may have the facility to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round by giving consent, subject to the applicable rules.
