ICAI CA January 2027 Exam Dates Out: Foundation, Intermediate Schedule, Form Dates, Fees and More
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the CA January 2027 exam dates for Foundation and Intermediate courses. The official announcement was issued on September 23, 2026, under the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.
According to the notification, the CA Intermediate January 2027 exams will be conducted for Group I on January 2, 4 and 6, while Group II exams will be held on January 8, 10 and 12, 2027. The CA Foundation January 2027 exams are scheduled for January 3, 5, 7 and 9, 2027.
The January 2027 examination schedule will not be changed even if any scheduled examination date is declared a public holiday by the Central Government, State Government or local authorities.

CA January 2027 Exam Timings and Reading Time
The CA Foundation and Intermediate January 2027 exams will begin at 2 PM IST. Foundation Papers 1 and 2 and all Intermediate papers will be conducted for three hours.
Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will have a duration of two hours, from 2 PM to 4 PM. ICAI has also specified a 15-minute advance reading time from 1:45 PM to 2 PM for all papers except Foundation Papers 3 and 4.

Candidates should note that no advance reading time will be provided for Foundation Papers 3 and 4.
ICAI CA January 2027 Exam Form Date
One of the important details in the latest ICAI notification is the CA January 2027 exam form schedule.
The online examination application process will begin on November 3, 2026. Candidates can submit their examination forms without a late fee up to November 16, 2026.
Students who miss the regular deadline can submit the form with a late fee of ₹600 for Indian and Kathmandu centres, or US $10 for overseas centres, up to November 19, 2026.
The examination form will be submitted online through ICAI's Self Service Portal (SSP).

CA January 2027 Exam Fee
ICAI has also specified the examination fee for the January 2027 session.
For candidates appearing from Indian centres, the CA Foundation examination fee is ₹1,500. For CA Intermediate, the fee is ₹1,500 for a single group or eligible unit and ₹2,700 for both groups or Unit 2.
For overseas centres, excluding Kathmandu, the Foundation examination fee is US $325. The Intermediate fee is US $325 for a single group or eligible unit and US $500 for both groups or Unit 2.
CA January 2027 Exam Centres
The January 2027 Foundation and Intermediate examinations will be conducted across examination cities in India. The official list includes cities across states and Union Territories, including Delhi/New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna and several other locations.
