The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially activated the link for CBSE Class 12 Digital Marksheets on DigiLocker. Following the announcement of the Class 12 board results today, May 13, 2026, lakhs of students can now access their academic records instantly.
While the official websites cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in are experiencing high traffic, DigiLocker serves as the most reliable alternative for students to secure their documents for immediate use.
Under the Information Technology Act, the digital documents issued via DigiLocker are at par with original physical certificates. The CBSE Class 12 Digital Marksheet 2026 is valid for:
University Admissions: Acceptable for UG registrations across India.
Counselling: Essential for JOSAA, NEET, and other state-level counselling.

Visit the Website: Go to digilocker.gov.in or open the DigiLocker App.
Login/Sign Up: Use your Aadhaar-linked mobile number to sign in.
Security PIN: Enter the 6-digit security PIN provided by your school. If you don't have it, contact your school coordinator immediately.

Q1: Can I use the DigiLocker marksheet for DU or Mumbai University admission? Ans: Yes, all major universities and colleges in India accept DigiLocker marksheets for provisional admission and document verification.
Q2: What if my school has not provided the 6-digit security PIN? Ans: You can still check your result on results.cbse.nic.in. However, to "issue" the document on DigiLocker, the PIN is mandatory for security. Contact your school principal to get the file.
Q3: Are Migration and Passing Certificates also available? Ans: Yes, CBSE uploads the Migration Certificate and Passing Certificate simultaneously with the marksheet on DigiLocker.
Q4: Is there any fee for downloading documents from DigiLocker? Ans: No, DigiLocker is a free service provided by the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY).
Q5: My marks on the website and DigiLocker are different. What should I do? Ans: This is rare, but if it occurs, the data on the official CBSE results portal is considered final. You should raise a query through your school to the CBSE regional office.
