The CBSE Board Exam 2026 Admit Card Release Date differs for regular and private candidates:
Private Candidates: The CBSE has already activated the portal. Private students can now perform their CBSE Board Exam Admit Card Download directly from the official website.
Regular Candidates: Regular students cannot download their hall tickets directly. Schools will download the bulk admit cards using their Pariksha Sangam credentials. Students must collect their physical, signed, and stamped copies from their respective schools by early February.
If you are appearing as a private candidate, follow these steps for a hassle-free CBSE Board Exam Admit Card Download:
Visit Official Portal: Go to cbse.gov.in.
Navigate to Link: Click on the "Admit Card for Private Candidates 2026" link.
Choose Search Criteria: You can search via Application Number, Previous Roll Number and Year, or Candidate Name.
Enter Details: Fill in the required fields accurately.
Download & Print: Click ‘Proceed’. Your hall ticket will appear. Download the PDF and take a clear color printout.
Important Note: A printed copy of the admit card is mandatory for entry into the exam hall. Digital copies on phones will not be accepted.
The board issued a revised timetable on December 30, 2025, rescheduling certain papers originally set for March 3.
