CBSE Board Exam 2026 Admit Card Release Date

The CBSE Board Exam 2026 Admit Card Release Date differs for regular and private candidates:

  • Private Candidates: The CBSE has already activated the portal. Private students can now perform their CBSE Board Exam Admit Card Download directly from the official website.

  • Regular Candidates: Regular students cannot download their hall tickets directly. Schools will download the bulk admit cards using their Pariksha Sangam credentials. Students must collect their physical, signed, and stamped copies from their respective schools by early February.

How to Download CBSE Board Exam Admit Card 2026 (Private Candidates)

If you are appearing as a private candidate, follow these steps for a hassle-free CBSE Board Exam Admit Card Download:

  1. Visit Official Portal: Go to cbse.gov.in.

  2. Navigate to Link: Click on the "Admit Card for Private Candidates 2026" link.

  3. Choose Search Criteria: You can search via Application Number, Previous Roll Number and Year, or Candidate Name.

  4. Enter Details: Fill in the required fields accurately.

  5. Download & Print: Click ‘Proceed’. Your hall ticket will appear. Download the PDF and take a clear color printout.

Important Note: A printed copy of the admit card is mandatory for entry into the exam hall. Digital copies on phones will not be accepted.

Revised CBSE Board Exam 2026 Datesheet

The board issued a revised timetable on December 30, 2025, rescheduling certain papers originally set for March 3.

CBSE Class 10 Board Exam Release Date (Revised)

  • Start Date: February 17, 2026

  • End Date: March 11, 2026

  • Key Change: The Class 10 paper originally on March 3 has been moved to March 11, 2026.

CBSE Class 12 Board Exam Release Date (Revised)

  • Start Date: February 17, 2026

  • End Date: April 10, 2026

  • Key Change: The Class 12 Legal Studies paper (originally March 3) is now on April 10, 2026.

Once you receive your admit card, meticulously check the following:

  • Student’s Name & Roll Number

  • Date of Birth (Specifically for Class 10)

  • Admit Card ID (Crucial for result checking)

  • Exam Centre Name and Address

  • Subject Codes & Exam Dates

  • Principal’s Signature & School Stamp (For regular students)
