CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026 Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to declare the CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026 any moment now on the board's official portals — cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in. As per reports and statements by senior CBSE officials, the board is aiming to close the Phase 2 result cycle by today, June 30, 2026, so that schools can move ahead with Class 11 admissions without delay. Passing documents and merit certificates will be issued to all Class 10 candidates once the second board scorecards go live.
More than 6.68 lakh students appeared for the Phase 2 examination held between May 15 and May 21, 2026 — a mix of students looking to improve their Phase 1 scores in up to three subjects and compartment-category candidates who needed to clear failed subjects. This is the first academic session in which CBSE has rolled out the two-exam Class 10 framework aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Under the two-exam Class 10 framework introduced this year, students had the option to reappear in up to three subjects to lift their Phase 1 scores. Here's what happens on the final marksheet:
CBSE will compare your Phase 1 and Phase 2 marks subject-by-subject.
The higher of the two scores in every improvement subject will be locked in.
If your Phase 2 score is lower, you do not lose your Phase 1 marks — the earlier score stays.
The consolidated marksheet will reflect the best combination of both attempts.
Example: If you scored 68 in Maths in Phase 1 and 84 in Phase 2, your final marksheet will show 84. If Phase 2 was 60, it will still show 68.
Once the result is out, CBSE will roll out the following documents and windows:
Passing Certificates and Merit Certificates — digital copies via DigiLocker; physical copies through schools.
Migration Certificates for students switching boards or schools.
Re-evaluation, Verification and Answer Sheet Photocopy windows will open per the CBSE schedule.
CBSE Class 10 Compartment Exam — students who still haven't cleared can register for the compartment cycle, expected in July 2026, with results in August 2026.
The Phase 1 (main) CBSE Class 10 result was declared on April 16, 2026. Here's a quick snapshot:
Total registered: 24,83,479
Total appeared: 24,71,777
Total qualified: 23,16,008
Overall pass percentage: 93.70%
Girls' pass percentage: 94.99%
Boys' pass percentage: 92.60%
Girls outperformed boys by roughly 2.4 percentage points — a trend that has now held for several consecutive years. With the improvement exam layered on top, the combined 2026 pass percentage is expected to nudge even higher once Phase 2 scores are folded in.
Beyond the two flagship websites, students can also access their Class 10 Second Board result 2026 through:
DigiLocker — results.digilocker.gov.in
UMANG app
Parinam Manjusha — CBSE's digital academic repository

Verify your name, parents' names and date of birth exactly as they appear.
Cross-check subject codes and subject-wise marks.
Confirm the school name and school code.
Report any discrepancy to your school immediately — corrections raised late can delay Class 11 admissions and future board record verifications.
