The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for the CBSE Class 12 compartment practical exams 2026. As per the latest CBSE notification, the CBSE 12th compartment practical exam 2026 date is set for July 29 to August 4, 2026. Alongside the CBSE Class 12 supplementary practical exam 2026 schedule, the board has also issued a detailed set of guidelines for schools, external examiners, and candidates to follow.

These practical exams are meant for CBSE Class 12 compartment students 2026 — those placed in the compartment category who need to clear the practical component of one or more subjects, either due to a repeat in practical (RP) or a repeat in both theory and practical (RB).

CBSE Class 12 Compartment Practical Exam Dates 2026

According to the CBSE circular, schools must conduct the Class 12 compartment practical exam 2026 strictly within the July 29 to August 4, 2026 window — not before, not after. CBSE has directed schools to:

  • Make proper arrangements so all practical exams are completed fairly and on schedule

  • Upload CBSE 12th compartment practical marks 2026 within the deadline set by the board

  • Follow all CBSE examination bye-laws and conduct rules without exception

  • Appoint external examiners as per CBSE norms, wherever the subject requires one
