Fee Structure

  • Normal fee (5 subjects): ₹1,600 (India) / ₹5,500 (Nepal) / ₹11,000 (other countries)

  • Additional subject: ₹320 / ₹1,100 / ₹2,200 per subject

  • Late fee: ₹2,000 extra per candidate

  • Practical fee (Class XII): ₹160 / ₹175 / ₹375 per subject

  • Visually impaired candidates are exempt from exam fees.

What Students Must Check

  • Correct spelling of name, parents'/guardian's name, and date of birth (as per school records)

  • Correct subject codes and combinations (e.g., Hindi-A vs Hindi-B, Maths Standard vs Basic)

  • Category marked correctly — Regular (FS), Essential Repeat (ER), or Improvement (I)

  • APAAR ID is optional this year, not mandatory

The One Rule That Matters Most

Once LOC is finalized, no correction, subject change, or addition is allowed — except during the November 2–4 verification window. After that, the Board will not entertain any request, regardless of reason.

Talk to your school now. Verify your name, DOB, and subjects before the school finalizes the LOC — not after. A single wrong entry that slips through can follow you all the way to your admit card and mark sheet.

What Students Should Do Immediately

  • Ask your school to confirm your data has been entered correctly — name spelling, DOB, subjects — before LOC is submitted, not after.
  • Check that your APAAR ID is linked and valid.
  • Track the correction/verification window closely once it opens — this is typically your last chance to fix errors.
  • Don't assume "someone else will check" — LOC errors are one of the most common reasons for admit card and certificate discrepancies each year.
