AP PGECET 2026 Revised Counselling Schedule: Dates and Details

The Higher Education Department, Andhra Pradesh has released the AP PGECET 2026 Revised Counselling Schedule for admission to postgraduate engineering and pharmacy programmes. Candidates who qualified for the entrance test or hold valid GATE/GPAT scores can now register online. All counselling activities are hosted on the official portal at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

APSCHE has updated the dates for certificate verification, web options entry, and seat allocation. Candidates must complete each stage within the specified deadlines to secure their admission.

Eligibility Criteria and Seat Quota

Applicants must meet specific academic standards established by the state council before applying for seats. The counselling process follows standard government guidelines for local and non-local seat allocations.

Candidates must satisfy the following minimum conditions:

• Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.

• Academic Qualification: Must hold a relevant bachelor's degree from an AICTE or UGC-approved institution.

• Minimum Marks: Minimum 50% aggregate marks for open category applicants, and 45% minimum marks for reserved categories.

• Seat Allocation Quota: 85% of seats in each course are reserved for Andhra Pradesh local candidates, while 15% remain open to local and non-local applicants.

Documents Required for Verification

Candidates must upload digital copies of their academic and personal records during the online registration process. The verifying officers examine these uploaded files before approving web option entries.

Ensure the following scanned documents are ready for upload:

• GATE or GPAT scorecard (if applicable)

• Qualifying degree certificate or provisional certificate

• Consolidated marks memo of the qualifying examination

• SSC / Class 10 memo for date of birth verification

• Study certificates from Class 10 to graduation (or residence certificate for private candidates)

• Aadhaar card or valid household card

• Integrated community certificate for BC, SC, and ST candidates

• Parent residence certificate showing 10 years of stay in Andhra Pradesh

• Transfer certificate (TC) from the last attended college
