
The Consortium of National Law Universities has published the final answer key for CLAT 2026 on December 16, 2025. The key has been released for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The Consortium has also confirmed that the CLAT 2026 results will be declared tomorrow, before 10 am. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access the final answer key through the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
According to the official notice, there has been no revision in the provisional answer key for the undergraduate paper. The Consortium stated that no changes were made to any UG question released on December 10, 2025, and the provisional key will be treated as final. As a result, evaluation for CLAT 2026 UG will be conducted out of 119 marks. In contrast, answers to three questions in the postgraduate paper have been revised.
The Consortium has further informed candidates that a separate notice detailing the grievance redressal process will be made available on the official website on December 17, 2025, by 12 noon.

Under the marking scheme, candidates receive one mark for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect response. Following the declaration of results, counselling will be conducted across the country for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes.
As per official data, the overall attendance rate for CLAT 2025 stood at 96.33 per cent. Of the candidates who appeared, 57 per cent were female, 43 per cent were male, and nine candidates identified as transgender. In the CLAT UG 2025 examination, the highest percentile of 99.997 was secured by male candidates from Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. The CLAT PG 2025 topper was a female candidate from Odisha, who scored a percentile of 99.993.
