COMEDK UGET 2026 Counselling: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the complete Round 1 counselling schedule for COMEDK UGET 2026. The mock round choice filling window closes today, July 13, at 4:00 PM, after which the mock seat allotment result will be published on July 14, 2026. The COMEDK mock round choice filling ends today at 4:00 PM sharp. Candidates whose document verification status shows "Approved" can log in at comedk.org, select their preferred colleges and branches, arrange them in order of preference, and save their choices before the deadline.
The mock allotment is a non-binding preview — it shows which seat you'd likely get based on your current choices and rank. Treat it as a rehearsal: use the mock result (out July 14) to refine and reorder your choices during the editing window (July 14–16) before the binding Round 1 allotment on July 17.
Don't skip the mock round. It's the single most useful tool for building a smart preference list before real allotment locks in
The COMEDK counselling is a fully online, single-window process (only physical reporting happens at the college). Here's the sequence:
Choice Filling — Log in at comedk.org and list your college-branch preferences in priority order.
Mock Allotment — Preview your probable seat; revise choices accordingly.
Seat Allotment (Round 1) — Binding allotment based on rank, category, choices and seat availability.
Document Verification — Uploaded documents are validated online.
Fee Payment — Accept your seat and pay the fee within the window.
Reporting to College — Complete admission formalities at the allotted institute.
Miss a deadline at any stage and your allotted seat can be cancelled — so track every date.
The COMEDK UGET 2026 seat allotment is decided by:
Your COMEDK UGET rank
The choices you fill (and their order)
Seat availability in each college/branch
Applicable category (COMEDK offers General Merit and KKR / Kalyana Karnataka Region seats only)
Pro tip: Fill the maximum number of choices possible. The more realistic options you enter, the higher your chances of securing an allotment. Filling too few choices is the most common reason strong candidates go unallotted.
The final Round 1 seat matrix for COMEDK UGET 2026 has been published, listing 24,576 seats for engineering admission across participating private colleges. The seat matrix is released separately before each round, so numbers can shift in Round 2 and Round 3 as seats free up or get added.
Check the college-wise and branch-wise seat matrix on comedk.org before finalising your choice list — it tells you exactly where the seats are.
Unlike KCET, COMEDK UGET has no Karnataka domicile requirement — it's a national-level route open to students from every state. A large share of aspirants come from outside Karnataka, making COMEDK the primary gateway to top Bangalore private engineering colleges like RV College of Engineering (RVCE), BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE), MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT), PES University and NIE Mysore.
If you're an outstation candidate, the same Round 1 dates apply to you — there's no separate timeline.
Eligibility: Candidates must have qualified COMEDK UGET 2026 and passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with at least 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Karnataka).
Documents commonly required (upload/verify at comedk.org):
Government-issued photo ID (PAN / Aadhaar / Voter ID / Passport / Driving Licence)
Class 10 marks card (date-of-birth proof)
Class 12 / PUC / Diploma marks card
COMEDK verification card and, later, the allotment letter + fee receipt
KKR certificate (only if claiming a Kalyana Karnataka Region seat)
Keep clear, uncropped scans ready — including any QR code on your marks card — to avoid rejection.
