Crucial Warning: Document verification is the most critical phase of COMEDK centralized admission. Candidates whose uploaded certificates are rejected by the consortium will be automatically barred from the Round 1 choice-filling and mock allotment process. Ensure all scans are crisp, original, and perfectly legible.
Aspirants must navigate the central single-window counselling platform systematically to prevent session timeouts or transactional failures. Follow this breakdown to register:
Visit the Official Website: Go straight to the official portal: comedk.org.
Access Candidate Login: Locate and click on the 'COMEDK Login' tab positioned prominently on the homepage.
Authentication: Input your unique User ID and Password created during the application phase.
Initiate Counselling: Navigate to the dedicated 'Counselling Registration' tab inside your dashboard.
Fee Payment: Remit the non-refundable online application processing fee of ₹2,000 using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
Upload Details & Log Out: Enter your updated scholastic details, carefully upload the necessary certificates in the specified format, and save your progress.
To secure an unconditional "Document Approved" status, candidates must scan and upload the original copies of the following certificates. Photocopies or self-attested prints are strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate rejection.
Original Government ID Proof: PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, or any other Government-approved ID uploaded during the initial application.
Date of Birth (DOB) Proof: Strictly your SSLC / Class 10th Marks Card only.
Qualifying Examination Proof: PUC / Class 12th Standard or equivalent marksheet.
Class 12th Admit Card/Hall Ticket Information: The board cross-verifies your scores online. Candidates must upload their Class 12 hall ticket. Note: If the physical admit card is misplaced, write your Roll Number, School Number, and Admit Card ID clearly in CAPITAL letters on a plain sheet of paper and upload that sheet.
COMEDK Admit Card: Your original Test Admission Ticket (TAT) containing the invigilator’s signature.
COMEDK UGET Rank Card 2026: Downloaded from the portal on May 29.
The COMEDK UGET engineering matrix is split fundamentally into General Merit and KKR (Kalyana Karnataka Region) seats. If you are claiming structural relaxation or reservation, you must upload these:
SC / ST / OBC Category Certificate: This is mandatory if you have scored between 40% to 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) combined in your 12th standard, and you hold a Domicile of Karnataka. The certificate must be explicitly issued in the candidate's name.
Karnataka Domicile Certificate: Candidates invoking SC/ST/OBC structural relaxations must upload an authentic Domicile Certificate issued by a state revenue authority not below the rank of a Tahsildar.
Kalyana Karnataka Region (KKR) Certificate: Candidates attempting to claim a reserved seat under the local KKR quota must produce the 371J Certificate, issued directly by the Assistant Commissioner in charge of that specific Revenue sub-division.
Once the document verification phase concludes, the choice-filling window will unlock. Post the publication of the Round 1 allotment results, candidates will be mandated to select one of the following options:
Accept & Freeze: The candidate is fully satisfied with the allocated college and branch, pays the structural academic fee, and exits subsequent upgrade rounds.
Accept & Upgrade: The candidate locks the currently allotted seat but wants to keep moving to higher preference choices in the next round.
Reject & Upgrade: The candidate rejects the currently assigned seat but remains in the active loop for subsequent rounds to get a better choice.
Reject & Withdraw: The candidate completely walks away from the COMEDK online admission process. Note: Failing to make any decision within the designated timeframe treats your status automatically as "Reject & Withdraw".
The last date to complete online registration, pay the fee, and upload all verification certificates on the candidate portal is June 8, 2026, until 2:00 PM. No offline requests or late extensions will be entertained.
Candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹2,000 online during the registration step. This is separate from the academic fee downpayment required after seat allotment.
If your original Class 12 hall ticket is unavailable, take a blank sheet of white paper and write down your official Board Roll Number, School Number, and Admit Card ID clearly in block letters. Scan this handwritten document and upload it to the portal.
The academic relaxation from 45% down to 40% in PCM marks is exclusively applicable to candidates who belong to SC, ST, or OBC categories AND are certified Domiciles of Karnataka. Non-Karnataka category students are treated under General Merit rules (minimum 45% in PCM).
General Merit seats are open to all pan-India eligible candidates based purely on their UGET ranks. KKR (Kalyana Karnataka Region) seats are strictly reserved for students belonging to specified districts of Karnataka under Article 371J, requiring a valid certificate from an Assistant Commissioner.
