
The National Testing Agency has opened the registration window for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programmes (CUET-PG) 2026, marking the start of the admission process for postgraduate courses through the national-level examination. Students who are appearing in their final year undergraduate examinations during the current academic session are eligible to apply.
Applications can be submitted online through the official CUET-PG portal at exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg. As per the notification released by the NTA, the registration process will remain open until January 14. After the application deadline, candidates will be given an opportunity to make corrections in their submitted forms during a dedicated correction window scheduled from January 18 to January 20.

The agency has confirmed that the CUET-PG 2026 examinations will be conducted in March, while the detailed subject-wise timetable will be released later. The test will be held for 157 subjects and will serve as the basis for admission to postgraduate programmes offered by participating universities and institutions.
CUET-PG 2026 will be conducted across 292 cities, including 16 international locations. In the previous cycle, the examination saw registrations from over six lakh candidates, with 5,23,032 aspirants appearing for CUET-PG 2025, reflecting an attendance rate of nearly 80 per cent.
