The wait for over a million aspirants is almost over. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to activate the download link for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2026 City Intimation Slip by the final week of April 2026. This advance notice is a critical step for students to finalize their travel arrangements for the nationwide entrance test.
As per the official NTA calendar, the CUET UG 2026 exams will be held from May 11 to May 31, 2026. The exams will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across hundreds of cities in India and abroad.

Locate Link: Click on the "CUET UG 2026 Advance City Intimation Slip" notification on the homepage.
Authentication: Enter your Application Number, Password/Date of Birth, and the Security Pin (Captcha).
Access Dashboard: Click the "Login/Submit" button.
View & Save: Your city slip will appear. Check your allotted city and exam date. Download the PDF and take a printout for your records.
Important Note: The City Intimation Slip is NOT the Admit Card. It only informs you of the city and date of the exam. The actual venue (exam centre address) will only be mentioned on the CUET UG 2026 Admit Card, released closer to the exam date.
With the NTA moving back to a full CBT mode for 2026, the city slip allows students—especially those from rural areas—to book trains or buses well in advance. It contains:
Candidate’s Name and Application Number.
Allotted Exam City and State.
Subject-wise Exam Dates.
Specific Shift Timings (Morning/Afternoon/Evening).
Q1: Is the city intimation slip mandatory for entry into the exam hall?
No. The city intimation slip is only for information. You must carry the CUET UG 2026 Admit Card and a valid photo ID to gain entry to the exam centre.
Q2: What should I do if there is a discrepancy in my city slip?
In case of any error in your name or subjects, immediately contact the NTA Help Desk via the official phone numbers or email addresses provided on the NTA website.
Q3: Will the city slip be released for all subjects at once?
NTA often releases city slips in phases based on the exam dates. If your slip isn't available immediately, check back regularly as the portal updates.
Q4: Can I change my allotted exam city?
Generally, the city allotted by NTA is final. Requests for changes are rarely entertained unless there is a significant administrative error.
