Delhi EWS Admission Result 2026: The Directorate of Education (DoE), Government of NCT of Delhi, has released the Delhi EWS Admission Result 2026 for the second computerised lottery draw, conducted on 10 July 2026 at 11:00 AM. Parents and guardians who applied under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Disadvantaged Group (DG), and Children With Special Needs (CWSN) categories can now check the second merit list on the official EWS admission portal.
The Delhi EWS DG CWSN merit list 2026 carries the names of children allotted seats in private unaided recognised schools across Delhi for the 2026-27 academic session at the entry level (Nursery, Pre-Primary/KG and Class 1). Alongside the online allotment, shortlisted applicants are being notified through SMS on their registered mobile numbers. This second round has been held to fill seats that fell vacant after the first draw (6 April 2026) due to non-reporting and document rejection.

Candidates whose names appear in the Delhi EWS 2nd selection list 2026-27 must report to the allotted school and complete document verification within the deadline notified by the DoE on the official circular. Verification is handled by dedicated zonal teams constituted across Delhi's districts under the District Deputy Directors of Education, in line with the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009.
During verification, parents must produce the original documents submitted at registration, typically including:
Proof of residence — ration card, domicile certificate, voter ID card, utility bill, or passport (as accepted by DoE)
Income certificate (family income below ₹5 lakh per annum for EWS)
Child's birth certificate
Aadhaar card (if available)
Disability certificate (for CWSN applicants)

Important: Under DoE norms, the allotted school cannot conduct any further screening and must admit the child once documents are in order. Failure to report or complete verification within the stipulated period may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat. Seats still vacant after this round may be filled through subsequent admission rounds as notified.

Admission is granted at the entry level in Delhi's private unaided recognised schools under the 25% RTE reservation. The EWS category requires an annual family income below ₹5 lakh; the DG (Disadvantaged Group) category covers specified social categories; and CWSN covers Children With Special Needs with a valid disability certificate. Selection is purely through the computerised draw of lots, ensuring a transparent, merit-neutral allotment.
The Directorate of Education (DoE) is the nodal body regulating school education in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and oversees EWS/DG/CWSN admissions in private unaided recognised schools under the RTE Act, 2009 and the Delhi School Education Rules, 1973. Parents are advised to rely only on the official portal ewsadmissions.delhi.gov.in for the merit list, allotment letters, and reporting schedules, and to check the circular section regularly for further updates.
