Freshman induction and orientation activities for new UG and PG admissions are expected to run through the first two weeks after classes begin on July 28. Individual colleges will separately notify welcome sessions, counselling drives, and student-support service schedules, so incoming students should keep an eye on their respective college notice boards and websites.
A calendar released this early gives DU's large and diverse student body — spread across dozens of affiliated colleges — a head start on planning travel, internships, and competitive exam preparation. It also helps departments coordinate exams and vacations uniformly across the university.
