Kerala NEET UG Round 1 Reporting: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has opened the reporting window for candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 of NEET UG Counselling 2026. Candidates who received an allotment must report to their respective colleges between August 28 and September 5, 2026, to complete document verification and confirm admission for the 2026-27 academic session.

The Round 1 provisional seat allotment was declared on August 25, followed by the final allotment result on August 27, after candidates exercised the freeze or float option on their allotted seats. This reporting phase applies to State Quota seats across government and self-financing medical and dental colleges in Kerala.

Kerala NEET UG Round 1: What to Do Before Reporting

  1. Check allotment details — Log in to cee.kerala.gov.in and verify the allotted college, course (MBBS/BDS), and category shown in your Round 1 result.

  2. Pay the admission fee — Candidates satisfied with their allotment must pay the prescribed fee online within the given deadline to confirm the seat.

  3. Download the allotment memo — Save and print the allotment letter from the CEE candidate portal; this is mandatory for reporting.

  4. Report to the allotted college — Visit the institute in person within the August 28-September 5 window.

  5. Carry all original documents along with photocopies (full list below).

Documents Required for Kerala NEET UG Round 1 Reporting

Candidates must carry the following original documents, along with self-attested photocopies, while reporting to the allotted college:

  • NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard

  • Kerala NEET UG Round 1 allotment letter/memo (downloaded from cee.kerala.gov.in)

  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificate (for age and identity proof)

  • Class 12 mark sheet and certificate

  • Nativity Certificate (mandatory for Kerala state quota eligibility)

  • Community/Caste certificate, where applicable, for reservation benefits

  • Income certificate, for candidates claiming fee concession or EWS reservation

  • Transfer Certificate (TC) and Conduct Certificate from the last institution attended

  • Passport-size photographs, as specified by the allotted college

  • A valid original photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, passport, etc.)

Candidates are advised to keep an extra set of photocopies of all documents, as colleges may retain copies for their records during verification.

Kerala NEET UG Freeze vs Float: What It Means for Reporting

Kerala's counselling process this year includes a freeze-float mechanism for the provisional round. Candidates who selected "Freeze" have accepted their allotted seat as final and must report and complete admission at that college — they will not be considered for an upgrade in Round 2. Those who opted for "Float" remain eligible for a potentially better allotment in the next round, but must still report and pay fees to retain their current seat as a safeguard, as per the process notified on the CEE portal.

What Happens If a Candidate Fails to Report?

Candidates who do not report within the notified window, or fail to complete fee payment and document verification by September 5, risk forfeiting their allotted seat. The vacated seat is then made available for allotment in the subsequent round. Given the strict, non-extendable nature of state counselling deadlines, candidates are strongly advised to complete all formalities well ahead of the closing date rather than waiting until the last day.

What's Next After Round 1 Reporting?

Once Round 1 reporting concludes on September 5, CEE Kerala is expected to announce the schedule for Round 2 counselling, which will factor in seats vacated by candidates who did not report, floated out, or cancelled their admission. Candidates who did not receive a seat in Round 1, or wish to try for a better one, should keep checking cee.kerala.gov.in for the Round 2 notification.
