New Delhi: The University of Delhi (DU) has officially opened Phase 2 registration for undergraduate admissions 2026 under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Candidates who successfully completed Phase 1 can now log in and submit their programme and college preferences on the official portal, ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
This phase is a critical step in the DU admission process 2026, as it determines the actual seat allocation based on CUET UG scores, preferred programmes, and college choices.
| Event | Date |
| Phase 2 registration window | July 3 – July 11, 2026 |
| Correction window | July 10 – July 11, 2026 |
| Announcement of simulated/tentative ranks | July 12, 2026 |
| Revision of preferences | July 12 – July 13, 2026 |
| First CSAS seat allocation list | July 16, 2026 (5 PM) |
| Acceptance of allotted seat | July 16 – July 18, 2026 |
| Verification/approval by colleges | July 16 – July 20, 2026 |
CSAS Phase 2 is the stage where candidates lock in their actual programme and college preferences after subject mapping. Unlike Phase 1 (registration and CUET details), Phase 2 requires candidates to map their Class 12 subjects with CUET UG 2026 subjects — a mandatory eligibility step.
According to DU's guidelines, applicants must have appeared in CUET for the same subjects passed in Class 12, or in a closely related language/domain-specific subject.
Visit ugadmission.uod.ac.in
Log in with registered credentials
Open the CSAS Phase 2 application form
Map Class 12 and CUET subjects; select programme and college preferences
Pay the application fee and submit
Download the confirmation page for records
Candidates may select unlimited programme-college combinations, subject to eligibility.
Once a seat is allotted and fees paid, candidates choose between:
Freeze — lock the allotted seat permanently
Upgrade — stay in contention for a higher preference in later rounds
This year, DU is offering admission to 73 undergraduate programmes, including 150 BA programme combinations across its colleges.
Phase 2 is mandatory only for candidates who completed Phase 1. Those who haven't finished Phase 1 cannot proceed.
