If you're one of the students staring at an F grade in RBSE 10th Result 2026, take a breath — because your academic year is far from over. The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (BSER/RBSE) has a structured second-chance system in place, and you have three concrete options to act on right now.

Here's everything — dates, fees, eligibility, steps — laid out clearly.

RBSE 10th Result 2026: The Numbers First

A total of 10,68,078 students registered for the RBSE 10th exam 2026, and the overall pass percentage rose to 94.23%. Careers360 The Rajasthan Board Class 10 exam was held from February 12 to February 28, 2026. Shiksha Girls outperformed boys yet again this year.

That means roughly 60,000+ students didn't make the cut — and every single one of them needs to know what comes next.

Your 3 Options If You Failed — At a Glance

Option Best For Opens Fee
Supplementary Exam Failed in 1–2 subjects After result TBA by board
Rechecking / Scrutiny Suspect a totalling error April 2026 Rs 300/subject
Revaluation Believe answer was mis-evaluated April 2026 Rs 300/subject

Option 1 — RBSE 10th Supplementary Exam 2026

Who Can Appear?

Students who fail in one or two subjects can appear for RBSE 10th supplementary exams. Students who fail in more than three subjects will not be eligible for the second attempt in the same session. Shiksha Failing three or more subjects means repeating the full academic year.

When Is It?

For students who fail in one or two subjects, the supplementary exams are tentatively scheduled for August 2026, with RBSE 10th supplementary results expected in September. indiatvnews

Passing Marks

Students must obtain 33% of total marks in their supplementary exam to pass that subject. Schools will provide students with their updated marksheet after they pass. KollegeApply This means 26/80 in theory and 7/20 in internals — both separately.

How to Apply?

The RBSE 10th supplementary application form 2026 will be available at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in after the board announces the schedule. Apply through your school — do not wait for the last date.

IN-ARTICLE FAQ: What if I fail in 3 or more subjects in RBSE 2026? You are not eligible for the supplementary exam. You will need to re-enrol for the full Class 10 exam in the next academic cycle.

Option 2 — RBSE 10th Rechecking 2026 (Scrutiny)

Rechecking is not a re-evaluation. The board only verifies whether all answers were marked and whether the totals were correctly calculated. No examiner re-reads your answers.

When to use it: You scored surprisingly low and suspect a clerical or totalling error.

Fee and Process

Students can apply for RBSE 10th revaluation (rechecking) by paying Rs 300 per subject. The board will start the revaluation process for students in April 2026. Shiksha

Steps to apply:

  1. Visit rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in
  2. Click on "Rechecking / Scrutiny 2026" link (live in April)
  3. Enter roll number and select subjects
  4. Pay Rs 300 per subject online
  5. Save your acknowledgement slip

IN-ARTICLE FAQ: Can rechecking reduce my RBSE 10th marks? Rechecking only checks for unchecked answers and totalling errors — your marks can only go up or stay the same, not decrease.

Option 3 — RBSE 10th Revaluation 2026

Revaluation goes deeper. A different examiner re-evaluates your entire answer sheet from scratch. Marks can increase, stay the same, or in rare cases, decrease.

When to use it: You genuinely believe your answers were correct but marked wrong — not just a totalling issue.

Candidates can visit rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in to apply for RBSE 10th revaluation. The fee is Rs 300 per subject. Students are required to fill out the revaluation application form and submit it before the last date. Shiksha

IN-ARTICLE FAQ: Should I apply for both rechecking AND revaluation? Apply for rechecking first. If still unsatisfied, revaluation is the stronger option. Both have separate application windows — watch official dates carefully.

Biggest Update: No More Supplementary Exams from 2026–27

This is the policy shift every Rajasthan Board student must understand — because it changes everything from next year.

The Education Minister announced a revised examination system for Class 10 starting from the 2026–27 academic session. Under the new policy, students will have two opportunities — the first exam (mandatory for all) will be held from March 2027, and the second in May–June. Students who pass can reappear in up to three subjects to improve scores. However, if a student fails in more than three subjects, they will not be eligible for the second attempt in the same session. No supplementary exams will be conducted under this new system. Shiksha

What this means in plain language:

  • The August supplementary window is being abolished
  • Your safety net in 2027 will be the May–June exam — not a separate compartment exam
  • Students who fail 4+ subjects will have to wait the full year, not just a few months
