Gujarat NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026: The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) has announced the Round 1 seat allotment result for Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2026. Candidates who participated in the state's MBBS and BDS admission process can check their allotment status on the official website — medadmgujarat.org — by logging in with their application number, password, and 14-digit PIN.
The result comes after the Round 1 online choice-filling process, during which candidates submitted and locked their preferences for government, management, and NRI quota seats in medical and dental colleges across the state. The choice-filling window opened on August 24 and closed at 1 PM on August 27, with the locked choices displayed to candidates the same day up to 4 PM. Seats have now been allotted based on each candidate's state merit rank, NEET UG 2026 score, category, and the choices submitted, matched against seat availability in each college and course.
The counselling covers a sizeable seat pool this year. As per the seat matrix released by ACPUGMEC:
MBBS: 7,500 seats across government, self-financed, GMERS, and other listed medical institutions — including 317 AIQ seats, 430 management quota seats, 862 NRI quota seats, and 5,891 government quota seats.
BDS: 1,255 seats across government and self-financed dental colleges — including 36 AIQ seats, 87 management quota seats, 148 NRI quota seats, and 984 government quota seats.
Gujarat's state counselling covers 85% state quota seats in MBBS and BDS courses, and the process is expected to run across four to five rounds depending on seat availability after each stage.

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must act promptly, as reporting and fee-payment deadlines in state counselling are typically tight. The general next steps include:
Document verification: Report to the allotted college or a designated help centre with original certificates, including the NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, category/domicile certificates, and a valid photo ID.
Fee payment: Pay the applicable admission or tuition fee within the notified deadline to confirm the seat. Missing this window can lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.
Reporting to college: Physically report to the allotted institute as per the schedule published on medadmgujarat.org, carrying the allotment letter and fee payment receipt.
Unallotted or dissatisfied candidates: Those who did not receive a seat, or wish to try for a better one, can wait for the Round 2 schedule and updated seat matrix, which ACPUGMEC typically releases after each round to reflect newly vacant seats.
Candidates are advised to carefully read the official counselling brochure and instructions published on medadmgujarat.org, as decisions taken at this stage — accepting, upgrading, or not reporting — affect eligibility for subsequent rounds.
