HPBOSE 10th, 12th Registration 2027: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala, has started the online registration process for regular students for the 2026-27 academic session. According to the latest HPBOSE notification, the registration portal opened on September 8, 2026, and schools can complete the registration process up to November 16, 2026.
The registration notification covers Classes 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. The process is meant for new registrations, while students who have already been registered with the board do not need to register again. The school Principal, Headmaster and concerned Class In-charge are responsible for checking and confirming the accuracy of the information submitted for each student.
Students and schools should not wait until the final date because HPBOSE has prescribed a separate late-fee period. The registration fee is ₹200 per student when registration is completed within the regular fee window. Registration with a ₹500 late fee per student is allowed from October 16 to November 16, 2026, in addition to the registration fee.
The important dates for HPBOSE regular student registration are given below:
| Event | Date |
| HPBOSE registration portal opens | September 8, 2026 |
| Registration with regular fee | September 8 to October 15, 2026 |
| Registration with late fee | October 16 to November 16, 2026 |
| Last date for registration | November 16, 2026 |
The official HPBOSE notification states that registration after the prescribed final deadline will not be accepted.
The current HPBOSE notification is not limited to Class 10 and Class 12. It covers regular students of Classes 9, 10, 11 and 12 for the 2026-27 session.
Therefore, searches such as HPBOSE Class 10 registration 2027, HPBOSE Class 12 registration 2027, HPBOSE 9th registration 2027 and HPBOSE 11th registration 2027 all relate to the registration notification issued by the board.
The HPBOSE registration fee is ₹200 per student during the regular registration period.
Students whose registration is completed during the late-fee window will have to pay the prescribed ₹500 late fee per student along with the registration fee. The late-fee period begins on October 16 and continues until November 16, 2026.
| Registration period | Fee |
| September 8 to October 15, 2026 | ₹200 per student |
| October 16 to November 16, 2026 | ₹200 registration fee + ₹500 late fee per student |
The registration process is applicable to new examinees who need to be registered with HPBOSE for the relevant examination process.
Students who have already been registered with the board do not need to register again. For new examinees, schools have been instructed to use the New Registration option available on the online portal and enter the required student information.
This means students should first check with their school whether their board registration has already been completed before submitting any details again.
The HPBOSE Class 10 and 12 registration process is completed through the board's online portal by the concerned school.
Visit the official HPBOSE website at hpbose.org.
Open the online registration section.
Log in using the school credentials provided by HPBOSE.
Select the appropriate class and registration option.
For a new examinee, select New Registration.
Enter the student's details carefully.
Cross-check the information with the school's admission register.
Enter the required category and other applicable details.
Provide CWSN information wherever applicable.
Complete the prescribed fee payment process.
Submit the registration within the applicable deadline.
Keep the registration details and payment record for future reference.
The HPBOSE online registration login requires the school code and password provided by the board.
The board has specifically instructed school authorities to ensure that the details entered for students are accurate. The Principal, Headmaster and Class In-charge should carefully verify information such as the student's name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, gender and category against the school admission record.
Special care is required while entering information for students belonging to the CWSN (Children with Special Needs) category. Such information should be entered according to the student's valid disability certificate.
Any mismatch between the registration information and the school's records can create problems later, so schools should complete the verification before submitting the registration.
The last date for HPBOSE 10th, 12th registration 2027 is November 16, 2026. However, students and schools do not have to wait until November because the registration process can be completed without the late fee until October 15, 2026.
From October 16 to November 16, 2026, registration will be accepted with the prescribed ₹500 late fee per student, in addition to the ₹200 registration fee. No registration will be accepted after the final deadline specified by HPBOSE.
Students who have previously been registered with HPBOSE are not required to complete a fresh registration. The current notification specifically concerns new registrations.
Schools should therefore verify the student's existing board registration status before selecting the New Registration option.
The registration responsibility is primarily with the concerned school authorities. HPBOSE has made it clear that the Principal, Headmaster and Class In-charge must ensure that student information is entered correctly.
The school should particularly verify:
Student's full name
Father's name
Mother's name
Date of birth
Gender
Category
CWSN status, wherever applicable
Information against the school admission register
The board has also stated that the responsibility for registration not being completed within the prescribed deadline lies with the concerned school authorities.
For new regular examinees covered under the HPBOSE notification, registration is an essential part of the board examination process. Students should coordinate with their respective schools to ensure that their details are submitted and verified within the prescribed schedule.
Students who are already registered with HPBOSE should not submit a fresh registration merely because the 2027 registration window has opened.
The official website for HPBOSE registration and board-related updates is hpbose.org. The board's notification section lists the September 8, 2026 notification regarding online registration for Classes 9 to 12 for the 2026-27 session.
Students should rely on the official HPBOSE portal for any subsequent correction, extension, deadline or registration-related update.
