NTA confirms JEE Main 2026 Session 1 dates (Jan 21-29). No revision in schedule. Download your city intimation slip and check the latest admit card updates here.
There has been recent speculation regarding a change in the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam dates. To clarify for all aspirants: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has NOT revised the exam dates. The specific dates recently announced fall strictly within the window previously communicated in the October 31, 2025, public notice.
The NTA has finalized the specific dates for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates should note these dates carefully to avoid any confusion:
| Official JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam Schedule | |
| Exam Paper | Official Exam Dates (January 2026) |
| Paper 1 (B.E. / B.Tech) | January 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28 |
| Paper 2 (B.Arch / B.Planning) | January 29 |
The confusion stemmed from a misunderstanding of the preliminary notice. Initially, the NTA provided a broad window (January 21 to 30). The recent announcement simply specified the exact dates within that window. No dates have been shifted, delayed, or rescheduled.
