Steps to Fix JEE Main 2026 Photo Mismatch

If you received an email regarding a photo mismatch, follow these steps to secure your admit card:

  1. Check Email: Access the specific link sent to your registered email ID.

  2. Prepare Certificate: Download the certificate, attach a recent photograph, and have it signed and attested.

  3. Authorized Signatories: You may use your School Principal/Headmaster OR a Class-I Gazetted Officer (Tehsildar, Revenue Officer, SDM, DM, or Embassy official for NRIs).

  4. Upload PDF: Log in via the provided link and upload the signed document in PDF format by January 15, 2026.

  5. Exam Day: You must carry the printed, original copy of this attested certificate to the examination center for physical verification.

Is this mandatory for all JEE Main candidates?

No. This only applies to candidates who received a notification from the NTA regarding a photo mismatch or those who registered using non-Aadhaar identity documents.
