In a major move to streamline document accessibility, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially made the JEE Main 2026 Scorecard available on DigiLocker. This digital integration ensures that the millions of engineering aspirants who sat for the 2026 session can now access their results in a secure, verifiable format that is legally at par with original physical documents under the IT Act.
While the results were initially hosted on the NTA’s primary server on April 20, the DigiLocker rollout provides a crucial "Plan B" for students facing server lag or those needing immediate digital copies for the upcoming JoSAA 2026 Counselling.
To access your digital marksheet, follow these verified steps:
Visit the Portal: Navigate to the official website at digilocker.gov.in or open the DigiLocker app on your smartphone.
Authentication: Log in using your registered mobile number or your [Aadhaar Redacted] credentials via OTP.
Search for Document: Use the search bar and type "National Testing Agency" or "JEE Main Scorecard."
Enter Details: You will be prompted to enter your JEE Main 2026 Application Number and Date of Birth.
Fetch & Save: Click "Get Document." The scorecard will appear in your "Issued Documents" section. Download the PDF for your records.
Pro Tip: New users must complete their e-KYC by linking their mobile number to their government ID to unlock the "Issued Documents" feature.
Once downloaded, candidates are advised to scrutinize the following details for any discrepancies:
Candidate Profile: Name, Roll Number, and Application Number.
Performance Metrics: Subject-wise percentile (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) and the Overall Percentile Score.
Ranking: All India Rank (AIR) and Category Rank.
Eligibility Status: A clear mention of whether you have qualified for JEE Advanced 2026.
What if there is an error? If you spot a mismatch in your name or category, contact the NTA Helpdesk immediately at jeemain@nta.ac.in before the JoSAA registration begins.
With the scorecard now in hand, the focus shifts to JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) Counselling.
Counselling Start Date: June 2, 2026.
Participating Institutes: 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, and 33 Other-GFTIs.
Requirement: Your DigiLocker-verified scorecard is a valid document for the online reporting phase of the admission process.
Q1: Is the DigiLocker JEE Main scorecard valid for college admissions? Yes, documents issued via DigiLocker are legally valid as per the IT Act, 2000, and are accepted by JoSAA and CSAB for counseling and verification.
Q2: I forgot my DigiLocker PIN. How can I get my scorecard? You can reset your security PIN using the "Forgot PIN" link, which will send an OTP to your registered mobile number linked with your government ID.
Q3: Why is my JEE Main 2026 Scorecard not showing in DigiLocker? Ensure that the name on your DigiLocker account matches the name on your JEE Application form exactly. Small spelling variations can sometimes prevent the "Fetch Document" feature from working.
Q4: When is the JEE Advanced 2026 registration starting? Following the release of the final scores, JEE Advanced registration usually opens within 24–48 hours of the NTA's final rank list declaration.
