JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Correction Window Opens: NTA Important Notice & Direct Link

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to open the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 application correction window after the registration process closes. This window allows candidates to fix errors in their forms before the April examination.

What Can Be Edited? (As Per NTA Norms)

NTA usually allows limited corrections depending on whether the candidate applied for Session 1 or only Session 2.

• Personal Details: Candidate name / father’s name / mother’s name (only one allowed)

• Academic Details: Class 10 & 12 information

• Demographics:

  • Date of Birth

  • Gender

  • Category & PwD status

  • State Code of Eligibility

• Exam Preferences:

  • Exam City

  • Medium of Question Paper

• Additional Changes:

  • Signature upload

  • Adding Paper 2A (B.Arch) or 2B (B.Planning)

Non-Editable Fields

• Registered mobile number

• Email address

• Permanent & present address

• Emergency contact details

• Photograph (except when discrepancy is flagged by NTA)

How to Make Corrections (Step-by-Step)

1. Visit the official portal: jeemain.nta.nic.in

2. Log in using Application Number and Password.

3. Click on “Correction in Application Form.”

4. Verify changes via OTP (if required).

5. Edit permitted fields and submit.

6. Pay additional fee (if applicable).

7. Download the revised confirmation page.
