The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates should note that the best score out of the two attempts (Session 1 and Session 2) will be considered for the final ranking.

Follow these steps to ensure your application is submitted correctly before the February 25 deadline:
Visit the Portal: Go to the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Access the Link: Click on “Registration for JEE (Main) 2026 – Session II” under the Candidate Activity section.
Login/Register: Use your Session 1 credentials to log in. New candidates must register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
Fill Details: Complete the personal and academic qualification sections.
Select Paper Type: Choose between Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch), or Paper 2B (B.Planning).
Upload & Pay: Upload scanned documents in the required format and pay the application fee online.
Submit: Download the confirmation page for future reference.
If you made a mistake during the registration process, don't panic. The NTA has officially announced a one-time correction facility that will open shortly after the registration closes.
Window Duration: The link will be active from February 27 to February 28, 2026 (until 11:50 PM).
Editable Fields: Candidates can typically modify their name (or parent's name), category, sub-category (PwD), educational qualification details, and exam city preference.
Non-Editable Fields: You cannot change your mobile number, email address, permanent/present address, or uploaded photograph.
Additional Fees: While access to the window is free, any change that impacts the fee (like changing from SC/ST to General or adding a paper) will require an additional payment.

The NTA is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Paper 2 results (B.Arch and B.Planning) shortly. Students will be able to download their scorecards using their application number and password.
