Thousands of UP Polytechnic candidates who locked their institute and course choices during the Round 3 choice-filling window (which concluded on July 19) are awaiting the allocation results.
The seat allocation is based strictly on:
JEECUP 2026 State Rank / Merit
Category & Reservation Policy
Preferences & Choice Priority Locked by Candidate
Seat Availability in Polytechnic Colleges
Once the allotment result link is active, candidates can view their allotted college, branch name, and category-wise seat allotment status.
To prevent technical glitches or server timeout issues, candidates should follow this simple step-by-step procedure:

Log In: Enter your Application Number, Password, and the Security Pin (Captcha).
View Status: Click on "View Seat Allotment Result" from your candidate dashboard.
Select Option (Freeze or Float):

Download & Print: Download the official UP Polytechnic Round 3 Allotment Letter and save multiple printed copies for physical verification.
Candidates who are allotted seats must complete mandatory admission steps within the given window:
Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat must opt for Freeze. If they wish to participate in subsequent rounds for a better branch or college, they must opt for Float.
To lock the seat, candidates must pay the requisite seat acceptance fee online via net banking, UPI, or debit/credit cards before July 23, 2026.
All Freeze candidates must physically present original documents at their chosen District Help Centre (Janpad Sahayata Kendra) between July 21 and July 24, 2026 (by 5:00 PM). Required documents include:
