The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh has released the JEECUP Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2026, opening the next decisive step for thousands of polytechnic aspirants across the state. Candidates who took part in the second round of UP Polytechnic counselling can now log in to the official portal, jeecup.admissions.nic.in, and view the institute and course allotted to them based on their rank, filled choices, category, and live seat availability.
The Round 2 allotment brings clarity for candidates who either missed out in the first round or held on for a preferred branch or college. Anyone who has secured a seat must act quickly, because the reporting and fee-payment window is short — running only from July 11 to July 13, 2026. Missing the deadline can mean losing the allotted seat, so candidates are advised to check their JEECUP seat allotment result and complete the formalities without delay.

Candidates allotted a seat must report to their designated District Help Centre for document verification. Carry all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies. The required documents are:
JEECUP 2026 Admit Card
JEECUP Rank Card
Round 2 Seat Allotment Letter
Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
Valid Photo Identity Proof
Recent passport-size photographs
Medical Fitness Certificate
Character Certificate from the last attended institution
Candidates claiming reservation or a fee concession must additionally produce the relevant category certificate. Those admitted through lateral entry should carry their ITI or diploma mark sheets and certificates. Keeping the paperwork ready in advance helps avoid last-minute rejection at the verification stage.
Freeze/Float option selection and fee payment: July 11 to July 13, 2026
Document verification at District Help Centre: July 11 to July 14, 2026
Last date to withdraw allotted seat: July 15, 2026
Round 3 Choice Filling begins: July 16, 2026
After the JEECUP Round 2 seat allotment, candidates get two clear choices. Those satisfied with their allotted college and branch should select the Freeze option, pay the seat-acceptance fee, and lock in their admission. Candidates hoping for a better institute or a preferred branch can select the Float option — this retains the current seat while keeping them in the running for an upgrade in the upcoming round.
Importantly, candidates who did not receive any seat in Round 2 remain eligible to take part in the next counselling rounds. With Round 3 choice filling starting July 16, 2026, aspirants still have a strong chance to secure admission to a Uttar Pradesh polytechnic institute for the 2026 session.
