The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has once again extended the last date to apply for Karnataka Village Administrative Officer (VAO) Recruitment 2026. Candidates can now submit their online applications for 572 VAO vacancies until August 20, 2026, with the window for online fee payment kept open until August 21, 2026.
The extension was communicated through an official notification and a post on KEA's social media handle, with the authority stating that the decision follows repeated requests from prospective candidates. The revised timeline also covers applicants under the Kalyana Karnataka category. KEA has clarified that all other terms of the original recruitment notification dated July 10, 2026, remain unchanged.
This marks the second extension to the application window. KEA had first opened applications on July 10, 2026, for direct recruitment to VAO posts in the Revenue Department across Karnataka's districts. The deadline was earlier pushed from its original date to August 7, 2026, via a notification issued on July 29, and has now been extended a second time to August 20.
Candidates who have not yet applied, or who wish to edit incomplete applications, should use this extended window to complete the process well before the fee payment cut-off on August 21, 2026.
