The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has directed KCET 2026 candidates whose Class 12 marks were revised after revaluation to personally submit updated marksheets at its Bengaluru office before the window closes today.
Candidates must submit a physical copy of their updated Class 12 marksheet at the KEA Office, 18th Cross, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. The submission window runs July 4 to July 6, after which KEA will verify the updated scores through each candidate's DigiLocker account before recalculating ranks.
| Event | Date |
| Mock seat allotment result | July 6 (after 11 AM) |
| Add/alter/rearrange/delete options | July 6 (2 PM) – July 9 (10 AM) |
| First round seat allotment result | July 15 (after 11 AM) |
The notice follows weeks of complaints from CBSE-board candidates after the CBSE On-Screen Marking controversy, which triggered a mass revaluation exercise involving over 1.6 lakh applications. Several students whose marks increased post-revaluation said KEA was not updating their KCET ranks accordingly. This directive is aimed at resolving those pending cases.
KCET is Karnataka's state-level entrance test for admission to undergraduate professional courses — engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, and veterinary science. Final rank is computed on a 50:50 weightage: KCET score (out of 180) and Class 12 PCM marks (out of 300).
The exam was held April 22–24, results were declared June 6, and 2,92,782 candidates were declared eligible.
