Following the official declaration of the Maharashtra Class 10 Result 2026 on May 8, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially activated the online application window for re-evaluation and verification.
Students who are dissatisfied with their SSC 2026 scores can now apply for a formal re-check. With an overall pass percentage of 92.09%, over 14 lakh students have cleared the exam, but for those seeking a score boost or transparency, the window is limited.
The board has strictly defined the timeline for post-result services. Missing these dates will result in a forfeiture of the right to challenge the scores.

Photocopy of Answer Sheet: ₹400 per subject.
Re-evaluation: ₹300 per subject.
Important Note: You must apply for a photocopy of your answer sheet first to be eligible for the re-evaluation process.
Mandatory Photocopy: Re-evaluation is only permitted after a student has received and reviewed the official photocopy of their answer sheet.
Expert Feedback: Students are advised to consult their school subject teachers after receiving the photocopy to identify potential marking errors.
Score Changes: If the re-evaluation results in a change of 5% or more in total marks, the new score will be updated. For students scoring 90% and above, even a 1-mark change is updated.
Finality: Once the re-evaluation result is declared, no further requests for re-checking will be entertained.
Yes. While students hope for an increase, the re-evaluation process involves a fresh look by an examiner. If errors are found that over-marked the student, the marks can technically decrease.
The re-evaluation fee (₹300) is generally refundable if there is a change in the total marks after the process. However, the verification and photocopy fees are non-refundable.
Verification only checks for totaling errors or missed questions. Re-evaluation is a comprehensive process where the entire answer sheet is reassessed by a subject expert.
A student can apply for a maximum of six subjects for photocopy and verification.
Students who fail to clear the exam even after re-evaluation can appear for the Maharashtra SSC Supplementary Exams, tentatively scheduled for June–July 2026.
