MH CET LLB 5 Year Seat Allotment Result 2026: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra will announce the Round 1 seat allotment result for the 5-year integrated LLB programme today, August 18, 2026, at 5 PM. The allotment comes after the conclusion of the Round 1 choice-filling window, during which candidates could submit and edit their college preference list until August 15, 2026. Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round 1 must report to the concerned college from August 19 to August 21, 2026 to complete document verification and confirm admission.
Notably, the Round 1 seat allotment result for the 3-year LLB programme will be declared separately on August 19, 2026, at 5 PM.
Round 1 choice filling closed: August 15, 2026
Round 1 seat allotment result: August 18, 2026 (5 PM)

Final merit list (already released): Published on July 28, 2026, after considering valid objections
Admissions to the 5-year LLB course in Maharashtra are conducted through CAP on the basis of MH CET Law 2026 scores. Only candidates with a non-zero valid score who registered and filled college choices through their login are considered for seat allotment.
Candidates can follow the steps below once the result goes live at 5 PM:
Visit the official CAP portal — llb5cap25.mahacet.org.
Click on the 'Check Allotment' or seat allotment result link for Round 1 on the homepage.
Log in using your application ID and password/date of birth.
Your MH CET 5-Year LLB Round 1 allotment status will appear on the screen.
Check the allotted college and course details carefully.
Download the provisional allotment letter and take a printout for the admission process.
Candidates allotted a seat should carry the allotment letter along with original documents (MH CET Law 2026 scorecard, Class 12 marksheet, domicile/category certificates, photo ID, etc.) while reporting to the college. They will also need to pay the seat acceptance fee at the time of confirmation.
Those who receive a college other than their first preference can either Freeze the allotted seat to confirm admission or opt for Betterment to be considered for a higher preference in the subsequent round. The Betterment option can be used a maximum of two times and is not available in Round III, which is the final CAP round. Since there is no auto-freeze, candidates must actively select Freeze or Betterment after each allotment where the option is available.
Additionally, CET-qualified candidates who have not yet registered can still register for Round III and the institutional-level round between August 5 and September 5, 2026.
Candidates are advised to keep checking the official CAP portal for the allotment letter, reporting instructions, and the Round 2 schedule.
