Addition of Exam Cities: New examination centers were added, and the extension allows students in those regions to apply.
Candidate Requests: Multiple representations were received by the NTA from students requesting an extension to complete their forms and arrange documents.
NCHMCT Request: The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology also formally requested the extension to accommodate more aspirants.

The exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
