CUET UG 2026 Objection Window Open

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the scribe registration portal for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, giving eligible Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) a narrow window to submit their scribe details online. The deadline is June 12, 2026, at 11:50 PM — candidates who miss this will not be allowed a scribe on exam day.

The re-examination is scheduled for June 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM across designated centres nationwide.

Who Can Register a Scribe for NEET UG 2026?

Only candidates who have been categorised as PwD or PwBD in their NEET UG 2026 application form, and who are entitled under NTA's scribe policy, can use this portal. General candidates cannot avail this facility.

If you are unsure whether you qualify, check your application confirmation page or the official disability entitlement guidelines published by NTA on the official NEET website: neet.nta.nic.in.

How to Submit Scribe Details on the NEET UG 2026 Portal — Step by Step

  1. Visit the official NEET website: neet.nta.nic.in

  2. Log in using your NEET UG 2026 application number and password

  3. On the candidate dashboard, locate the 'Register Scribe Details' option

  4. Select the applicable scribe facility type

  5. Enter the required scribe information accurately

  6. Submit the form online before June 12, 2026, 11:50 PM

  7. Once submitted, details will reflect on your application form and confirmation page — save a copy

Do not wait until the last hour. Portal traffic spikes close to deadlines and submission failures at 11:49 PM will not be entertained.

NEET UG 2026 City Slip vs Admit Card: Know the Difference

NTA has already released the exam city intimation slip for re-NEET UG 2026 candidates. This is generating confusion — many students are treating the city slip as their admit card. They are not the same document.

Detail City Intimation Slip Admit Card
Exam city and centre Yes Yes
Candidate name and roll number No Yes
Reporting time No Yes
Exam centre full address No Yes
Entry to exam hall Not valid Mandatory

The city slip is for travel planning only. The admit card is the entry document. Candidates arriving without the printed admit card will be denied entry — no exceptions.

The NEET UG 2026 admit card is expected to be released by June 14, 2026. Download it the moment it goes live and carry a printed copy to the exam centre on June 21.
