NMIMS NPAT Result 2026 is expected to be declared today, June 22, 2026, on the official NPAT portal — npat.nmims.edu. Thousands of candidates who appeared for the National Test for Programs After Twelfth (NPAT) conducted by SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) are eagerly refreshing their login dashboards for BBA, B.Com (Hons.), B.Sc. Finance, B.Sc. Economics, and other undergraduate programme results.
NMIMS Vice Chancellor had earlier confirmed in an Instagram video that NPAT 2026 results for all undergraduate courses would be declared on June 22. Candidates are advised to keep their registered email ID and password ready to access results without delay the moment the merit list goes live.
[LATEST | 10:00 AM] NMIMS has already released results for several UG courses, and the admission process based on NLAT (NMIMS Law Aptitude Test) and NMIMS CET is also currently underway. BBA and BCom candidates are now awaiting their turn.
[UPDATE | 9:30 AM] NPAT results are officially termed as a merit list by NMIMS. There is no consolidated merit list released; instead, candidates find their individual merit position inside the login dashboard after logging in at npat.nmims.edu.
[UPDATE | 9:00 AM] The minimum qualifying mark for NMIMS NPAT admission is set at 50 percent — candidates scoring below this threshold are ineligible for seat allocation. Make sure your score clears this bar before assessing campus preferences.
[UPDATE | 8:30 AM] Admission is granted to candidates based on scores obtained in the exam, the campus selected by the candidate, the cut-off level, and the seat intake capacity of the institute.
NPAT (National Test for Programs After Twelfth) is conducted by SVKM's NMIMS for admission to BBA, B.Com, B.Sc. Finance, BA (Liberal Arts), B.Sc. Economics, and other undergraduate programmes across its campuses.
More than 80,000 candidates appear for the NPAT exam every year, competing for seats at NMIMS campuses in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, Chandigarh, and Dhule.

Candidates checking the NPAT results will find personal details, exam-related details, and admission-related details inside the login window. Specifically, the result dashboard is expected to contain:
Candidate's name and application number
Programme applied for and campus preference
NPAT score and merit rank
Qualifying status (shortlisted / not shortlisted)
Admission offer details and campus allotment (if applicable)
In case of any discrepancies in the mentioned details, candidates must immediately contact the NMIMS admission office.
SVKM's NMIMS calculates the NPAT score by awarding +1 mark for every correct answer and 0 marks for incorrect or unattempted questions. There is no negative marking. The total exam comprises 120 questions, totalling 120 marks. NMIMS applies a normalisation of scores to equate candidates' scores across multiple attempts and sessions, and the best score across all three attempts is considered for merit rank allotment.
The NPAT cutoff has steadily risen in recent years due to a higher number of applicants and greater competition — from 60+ in 2022 to 70+ marks in 2024. For 2026, the expected cutoffs are:
NMIMS Mumbai (BBA): 80–90+ marks
NMIMS Hyderabad: 78–81 marks
NMIMS Bengaluru: 75–80 marks
NMIMS Indore / Chandigarh / Ahmedabad: 70–78 marks
SVKM's NMIMS does not officially release NPAT cutoff scores. Based on previous admission trends and candidate feedback, a score between 69 and 71 is generally considered qualifying, but competitive candidates must aim well above this range.
Candidates who receive an admission offer based on their NPAT score are allowed to accept or reject the admission order while checking results. Here is what happens next:
Step 1 — Accept or Reject Seat: Log in, review your allotted programme and campus, then choose to accept or decline.
Step 2 — Pay Admission Fee: Candidates accepting the allotted seat must pay the prescribed admission fee within the given deadline to confirm their seat. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of the offer.
Step 3 — Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must report to their respective NMIMS campus on the scheduled date for document verification and admission. Required documents include original Class 10 and 12 marksheets, passing certificates, photo ID proof, category certificate (if applicable), and passport-size photographs.
Step 4 — Counselling: NPAT 2026 counselling is conducted online. Document verification, seat allocation, and fee payment are all done through the online portal. However, the Mumbai campus may conduct offline counselling for certain programmes.
The NMIMS Mumbai campus offers the maximum number of seats for BBA courses — Mumbai campus alone has 720 seats for BBA. Seat availability across all campuses (Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Dhule) is published in the official NPAT admission handout.
